I know you'd be in the minority, but read this forum.  They are openly questioning if this will ruin everything as this is the kind of thing that truly does ruin franchises.  Their players were openly bashing the call in the locker room postgame.  They are the biggest logical threat to our upcoming reign and this was soul crushing.  This was a great result for Panther nation.

Any link to the players questioning the call?

Dungy, Collinsworth, and Rodney Harrison are all saying that this no doubt will have some serious locker room implications. Can't remember which one of them said it now, but they said Carroll went from running that in and being a surefire hall of famer, to now being questioned as to when he can even coach this team going forward. That is hard to overcome.

Losing in such a way focks you up for a while. See the 49ers. I hear SEA have some good psychologists though so you never know.

This doesn't impact us. We shouldn't be relying on other teams to implode, we need to take care of business for ourselves. It's up to our guys, not theirs. I'm pissed because I can't fuging stand the Patriots. Now I have to go to work tomorrow and hear from everybody how god damn great Brady and Belichick is and all this bullish*t when they're just f*cking cheating lucky ass losers.

this is good news for the panthers. we look like an up and coming team in the NFC, with Seattle being the obvious king to topple.

Throw in this horrible loss, Russel Wilson's huge payday and things are looking up for us.

Easy.  Tell them Cam owns their @$$ and cost them a ring last year (they would have been the #1 seed and hosted the AFCCG last year if they beat us).  Not to mention we will have more rings than they will in due time.

We will take care of our business as well, but I strongly, strongly, strongly disagree that this doesn't impact us.

If I didn't have that one friend that's a bandwagon pats fan(born in NY raised in SC), it might've helped. I been able to keep my sanity throughout their annually good to great seasons by pulling the "no rings in 10 yrs" & "dynasty is over card." I'm glad we're on the upswing, but being a Panthers hasn't helped much when trying to talk trash. *sigh*

    • You're assuming just as well.   Morgan and Canales were hired 3 days apart.  I believe it was partially due to their connections in Seattle.  i believe Tepper wanted some familiarity with his GM and HC.  It is so easy to sit back and arm-chair QB over draft picks.  You don't know what the philosophy was going into the 2024 draft.  I believe Canales and Morgan were drafting for the future.  XL and Brooks point to that philosophy. Name me one GM that is 100% on draft picks.  Just one.  You're not going to find one.    I think year one picks weren't for what can you do for me now but Potential.   XL hasn't lived up to the hype of a 1st rounder.  I think we all can agree on that. However, there still is hope he comes around.  What I believe they saw in him was his speed after the catch.  He needs to get more consistent but when he gets the ball you kind of hold your breath just a second because if he gets free, he's gone.  The Brooks pick was a signing for the future, and no one could have guessed he would re-injure the same ACL.  This makes the pick look bad but Dallas was ready to draft him later that same round.  IMO we'll have to see what happens next season before we can call this a bust. Wallace has improved each season and for a third rounder has done well.  Sanders has shown flashes and considering the pick in the 4th round it wasn't a bad pick.  His sophomore season IMO was a little bit more productive.  Smith-Wade has been a good addition and has played well.  For a 5th round pick to get as much playing time as he has.  Most picks below round 3 should take a couple of years to get up to speed.  He's been a decent player.  Crumedy, no comment We turned Barrett into Jackson.  This was an amazing move and basically got a starting CB for a 7th round pick.  Pretty shrewd if you ask me. Coker, maybe the best Free Agent signing of the 2024 draft class. So, in short, you can't say that the draft was a bust.  It isn't a home run but all but one are still on the team and outside of Brooks have made contributions to wins.  2025 draft class has been much better with almost every pick making contributions this season.  Now take Fitterer's two years and compare them to Morgan and tell me that they have the same philosophy.
    • He hasn’t led crap, he’s on loaded teams and a piece of the puzzle. And he’s he has improved drastically but it took the ultimate QB whispers in Shanahan and KOC. You put him on this Panther team and he’s back to normal Darnold
    • Slavin and Jarvis week to week. Florida cheap shots took out our two best players.  I’d start KK so he can beat the brakes off someone.
