Nobody thinks of the man as the victim in these things. I was a victim of paternal fraud. It took a long time getting a lawyer to take the case in the first place. I was vindicated through DNA but the damage had already been done by that time. 13 years of being in the child support system basically makes you feel like a criminal. You have to tell them when you move. Your employer never looks at you the same once they get the call to hit your check up. It was a shameful ordeal that made life an up hill battle and it hurt that the state willingly help her steal from me. She knew what she was doing. I didn't have anything but my parents owned a business at the time so I was a target so just imagine somebody like Hardy or any other football player. They'll come up with anything to get a dollar and make stuff up to steal from you and the system will help them to do it. Tell your boys they are out there.

I'm putting this personal stuff out here to prove that what SHE says isn't always the truth. What if she intended to start a fight? Should she be rewarded? If a guy wants to take it to court you may just want to listen and not judge people because they may just be innocent.

We had an attorney on the podcast this week who does this for a living that says its not uncommon to do time for an A1 misdemeanor.

Also Hardy is a prior conviction level 1. If he is guilty the judge will most likely opt for intermediate or community sentencing and not active. Is it possible he could serve time? Yes. Is it the most likely out come if found guilty? Not really.

The big payoff for Holder is the civil suit that would follow if he is found guilty. Millions at stake. She could use any offer he may have given her to go away as pretty damning evidence against him.
