Will Steve Smith affect Torry Smith's opinion of signing with the Panthers?

deep threat with a few years of experience and proven ability to make big plays in big game. would provide the perfect match across the field from KB, who could be used as a possession receiver and red zone threat, and allow philly brown to work out of the slot and occupy safeties and nickels with greg.

who the fug do you cover?

If anything it will help us.

Torrey lost a lot of touches and TDs in the first part of the year because of Smitty.

Really hurt TS's FA value.

SS loosened up the D for TS, he was the best thing that could have happened  for him. that was undoubtedly the plan all along.

Torrey fits our scheme. 89 didn't at the end.

Torrey isn't a redzone guy anyway....and that was the only way 89 was going to score at the end. Torrey makes his living going deep

Either is Smitty IMO. He averages about 6 TD's a season. Only 1 year ever over 10 TD's in a season. Now Benji, he's a redzone target. 11 TD's his rookie year and we all saw how many more he shoulda/coulda had.

We need someone with deep speed to take the top off, Torrey does that.

If you included KB's post season td's you should also include Smith's 2003 postseason td's. Smith would have 2 seasons with 10 td's or more.
