Ian Rappoport confirms it was a hoax

why would someone hack his account, post a bogus tweet and then delete it? that doesn't make any sense. why go to all of the trouble to hack and post, just to delete?

It makes more sense than the people saying myself and 5-6 other strangers who had no contact with each other are collectively lying about seeing the tweet.

No, What? I just don't think it's true. The tweet that is. Rapoport probably got hacked and the tweeted was deleted by said hacker before he realized. I saw it, a handful of others did too. I'm just certain Rapoport wouldn't tweet that on accident and then try to cover it up knowing it would come out later.

Don't know why the huddle thinks I'm the bad guy today..

And I normally get notifications when Rappoport or the NFL tweets about the Panthers.

You guys are fuging idiots. Ian Rapoport has 567,000 followers on Twitter. You think he really tweeted that out and it just so happened that the only people that saw it are tied directly to the Huddle? I have like 750 and I can't tweet something stupid without at least someone seeing it and bringing it back up. Also, the last part of the tweet was a dead giveaway it was fake. These NFL guys don't throw in little sensationalistic quotes in their tweets like that with the FO supposedly being "stunned".

Fake, 100% fake. There's not even anything fishy going on here. It's a loser with ZERO life that decided to photoshop that. There are easy Twitter-fake sites out there that will photoshop tweets for you instantly as soon as you type in whatever message you want under whatever Twitter handle. There's no conspiracy here. Move about your day.

Thank you, smf

What happens when two teams are playing in the Super Bowl, but one team is late because the gate is broken that is supposed to let their team bus into the stadium?

    • You've got to constantly invest in the OL. The mantra pay tackles, draft guards/centers is true for a reason. Every 2 years we should be investing a round 2 or 3 pick in a starting guard unless we hit an all pro guy. Center, I lean more towards keeping the franchise guy than rotating him out as long as the price tag come contract time isn't insane. At least one day 3 pick needs to go to a guard or tackle every year churning the backup positions. Almost 18% of our team is OL. Investing at least 1 pick a year is just good business. That roster area needs to constantly be churning to try and keep low cost, highest possible quality talent.
    • If you have watched Stroud the past couple of seasons, I think his confidence well has been leaking for some time now. If you look at his overall production it has decline year on year and he just doesn't look comfortable very often. Some of that is loss of OL but it's not like he is getting David Carr'ed. This is the lowest sack rate he has had in his NFL career. It's hard to explain the absolute meltdown he had coming into the postseason. I haven't really seen anything like that other than Jake's one game meltdown and Carson Palmer's wild 2015 two game meltdown(6 TO's against us alone). Both of those QB's didn't last long as NFL starters after that. Not sure what will happen with CJ but I do genuinely question if he is mentally shot. Young's mechanics are unfixable because he(and his team/QB trainer) don't agree with anyone else on his footwork issues. They believe he is doing what will be successful for him.
    • Yes I do remember that. And people say the playbook is not limited.
