IMO, if we sign Oher and Douglas that would free us up to take BPA in the draft. I really think Douglas is better than most believe. Like the article said, he just came off a 1,000 yard season only one year before. This year their o-line was horrible. I don't think they were much better the year before. Only problem is he is 30....didn't know that. But for a good price, I'd love to have him. He may want move on from ATL for a starting job. But then again, like the situation with Ginn, never know how the draft will go.

    • That is why he's been actually able to run scrambles for the past few games because teams don't fear him as a runner and sure as hell don't fear him for a QB sneak.  So yeah, no team is spying him to keep him in containment if plays break out of structure.
    • I honestly do think it is an intelligence thing. The whole Rico debacle opened my eyes. Rico was hot. Two 200+ games in a row, complete dominance. Dave was not smart enough to play Rico instead of putting in an injured Hubbard (Hubbard even said he came back injured. I'm sorry, that isn't low intelligence, that is an IQ of a 5 year old and I still think a 5 year old makes the right decision. Injured guy, or not injured guy killing it? Think about how low of intelligence you have to make that decision. That is mid season firing decision. So much so that investigation into fixing a game should happen. Its like Dave can't make decisions during the game. Like he is handed a gameplan and not allowed to change it. Its that obvious. There are only 3 scenarios. Dave is given the gameplan before the game and not allowed to deviate, he is fixing games, or he is incredibly stupid. I think it is one of the first two, I dont think he is that stupid.
    • The speed of the moving parts when he dropped to the ground the defender was already lunging forward to make a tackle.
