Panthers Final Decision On Hardy : No Thanks

Yeah. Lets pay a shi t ton of money to a guy who has proven time and time again that he's a ticking time bomb. It worked so well last season, let's just rinse and repeat.

Show your work. And a motorcycle accident doesn't count. Most people who ride will eventually get in an accident. And your uncle's friend who rode for 300 years without an accident isn't a proper sample size

People, accept this now and don't question it any longer.....we can't afford him, Cam, CJ, Luke, etc.

Hardy wants and is gonna demand too much money! Honestly, more than he is worth. He has watched CJ get paid and now he wants his as he has spent the last 3years(minus past season) barely making 600,000 as a guy he out produced made close to 50mil.

The real handicap right now is the CJ contract it's effects, both past and present, will linger for two more seasons. Now, unless CJ tears up his contract and signs a new one that is 8-10mil, Hardy is as good as gone.

Carolina tagged him last year bc they were debating what to do with him bc they viewed him as so risky.....he then missed the whole season. That is showing work.

You aren't gonna get Carolina to give you a list of all the reasons they believed that.....just like you didn't get a list of why 89 was such a headache. But it takes some creative thinking to believe those are made up and unfounded....and that only a team spokesman bluntly telling you would make it legit

also it's a new page with new people making shitty arguments so i suppose i'll point this out again:

those of you going "hur hur protect the shield the panthers don't care about their players morals over wins amirite guys" you need to consider that the deal they cut with goodell saved hardy's ass from a suspension without pay and also allowed him to be in the building and work out in the panthers' facilities. those are two advantages he wouldn't get if the alternative happened. per numerous reports he declined the opportunity which just pissed the FO off even more.

if gettleman would have done what all you billy badasses suggested and done donuts on goodell's yard in his shelby mustang while smoking a marlboro red and flipping the bird hardy would have been suspended without pay and barred from 800 south mint.

    • I used to think Juan was a Zod alt. Agree he's a great poster.
    • Hawks said nah we good and sent him to the shadow realm aka the Wizards. Cold blooded. I mean they're 2-2 in a series with a young up and coming Knicks team largely through 34 year old CJ McCollum. Even if they ultimately lose the series at least they are there and have something to build on. I think Hornets fans are just beaten down and lack the objectivity to assess the situation. They think we are going to get so much worse if and when we finally change gears. Worse how? We've already been a lottery team for years now. We've already been looking to win our first playoff series in about a quarter century. We already can't get past the play in and in failing to do so we have completely embarrassed ourselves twice looking like we don't even belong. Honestly there is absolutely no excuse for a team like the Magic to be more competitive and successful than us in the playoffs. Absolutely disgusting. But that's just me. I was fuging lit when we got the Hornets back in Charlotte but that is old old news. It's time for these boys to get into a playoff series. Enough is enough. If they can't do it for 2026-27 then they need to make wholesale changes regardless.
    • Not one single pick that is asking me why we drafted a guy in the first place. It was a guy we needed and/or a guy that had certain traits making them stand out. Best of all, I feel everyone we drafted are capable of stepping onto the field this year and have a meaningful role (even Kuwatch on special teams). Obviously, nothing is guaranteed but I'm not seeing any huge flags on guys because they're risky projects or massive overreaches.
