They've lost my confidence. The organization sucks. I'll continue to support the players but the organization can go piss off. CJ is getting close to the end of his career. Who the f are they looking for DE? YOU drafted Hardy and helped develope him into a elite DE!!!!! All respect due to CJ but the last time we had an elite DE was Julius Peppers, bottom line! THERE HAVE BEEN AND ARE playing in the NFL that are involved in real criminal acts. WHY THE F*%K would you release someone on suspicion and here say?

The TEAM LEADERS AND COACH AND CITY WANT YOU TO TURN OUR TAX DOLLARS OUR MONEY WE SPEND ON OUR TEAM IN OUR STADIUM(yes) AND ON MERCHANDISE INTO NFC CHAMPIONSHIPS OR BETTER. We were on our way. You told us ten years and you almost did it then you stopped trying! Bill Polian was right!

Pep didn't want to be here so I can't blame you for that one but this s*%#?!? The TEAM said they would foster him. The coach wants the guy on the field. Fans are begging and pleading with you to bring back #76!

These statements coming from Voth indicate you want to do otherwise. What that says to US and 31 other teams and YOUR TEAM is that YOU are ALWAYS chose the shield over them and their will to be great. Say what you will

Thats a really realy bad plan.

it only works if there is a serious threat that the team applying the tag would sign him long term. in this scenario every other team in the league would go "yeah you guys have fun with that. talk to you next offseason when you're a free agent greg and drew". what would his cap figure be anyway, close to $20 million? that would buttfug our ability to do anything at all in free agency.

Furthermore what time table are we looking at? We'd have to have him traded at like the starting gun of FA to have any chance at even the mid tier guys.

remember too that a huge part of the decision here factors in our cap situation, where we're currently paying massive numbers at the defensive end position. with cam and keuchly on the docket for contracts hardy simply becomes a victim of numbers… to which extent we can honestly blame hurney's decadence for hardy's departure as much as anything.

So long Gregory...again. And jeez, some people need to get over that sometimes, you need to let good talent go.

Seems like many are acting like he was way better than he actually was...plus the guy has always been a headcase, prior to the whole domestic bs.

People acting like he is Reggie White...

Hardy isn't even one of our top 3 lineman in francise history and we survived them not being with us.

You simply can't afford to tag a player 2 years in a row. What does it bump by, 20%? And why would you after you got nothing from him last year and he could still be looking at another 6 weeks off.

It sucks because we are losing a dominant home grown player. Teams like to resign their own talent. But unfortunately the writing was on the wall when we tagged him last year and never came to a deal. Tagged players usually move on year 2. Maybe they knew they were dealing with a guy on the edge and thought they could get somebody to bite on a trade last year but Greg signed that tag in record time making it impossible.

Greg wasn't going to be resigned for free either so it leaves cap space for another player or players. Not the end of the world, Gman likes drafting Dline anyway apparently.

Ealy needs to step up and CJ needs to find that fountain of youth, can't start out slow next year too CJ.

Honestly, I thought the original plan would be to resign Greg and cut CJ, guess the elder statesman proved more reliable.

It is official. For Bill to be this definitive means he was told by Rivera or Gettleman.

The Panthers won't come out and say they aren't going to bring back a UFA. They will just let him sign elsewhere, like every other UFA ever.

That's excatly right.  What are you guys expecting?  Gettleman to hold a press conference announcing Hardy won't be back?!

No surprise, still a dumb move by panthers. We paid 13 mil for one game and will lose an elite DE to UFA with nothing in return. We groomed him and got nothing in return. This is all due from media press over an issue hardy was dismissed of all charges. This couldn't of been handled any worse by us. Absolute worst case scenario.
