I love edwards, when healthy he's havoc inside. No way, well unlikely he takes a vet min or even the one like cole got. I believe his bottom number starts at 1.5 million. I even remember edwards commenting on his future, saying it has to be worth his time...... along the lines I'm not playing form the min. Hes happy and the queen is family friendly........so

Hope something can be worked out, healthy hes 30 snaps of problems. Plus he's a good leader and role model for kk&star. He's much better than that turd 3rd bust terrell mclame.

Yard sale signing

Gettleman: "Look Colin, I know you want $2million, but all I have in my pocket is $1.05 million vet minimum. Deal?"

Cole: "Ok, deal."

More like Pawn Stars signing:

Cole - Hey, I'm a veteran lineman. Filled in really well last year and great at stopping the run.

Gettleman - Interesting. How much do you want?

Cole - 2 million

Gettleman - Hm, can't do 2 million. You're old, and also there are plenty of good run-stoppers we could sign. Best I can give you the veteran minimum, but no higher. Or I can bring in this buddy of mine, he's an expert in aging defensive tackles...

Cole - Nah, I'll just take the cash.

    • You are right--it was DC.  I remember talking to him at Belk in Albemarle one day--the Panthers were on a bye and they were (at the time) a disapointing 4-4.  I mentioned that the record was disappointing and he seemed to get a bit annoyed.  He dId not say anything.  I trying to suggest that we will get better, but I think he was pretty upset about it.  No hard feelings, but the man was simply trying to shop with his wife and this annoying jerk starts making comments about his job---I get it.  I apologized, telling him that I was trying to be supportive and not critical--he did not think it was a big deal.  I'd see him at events from time to time-he'd wave or say hi, but it was awkward for me.  Figured I would say something stupid.  Jordan was pretty popular--nothing like she seems to be now--she is holding her own in a man's world...proud of her.
    • Like we have had the last 3 years.
    • In May of 2026, it looks like a challenging schedule...and it probably is.  I rarely listen to the "strength of schedule" conversations that light up social media this time of year. Each year teams improve and decline. I think there's chunks of the year we need to take care of business and the week 5 bye is not desired.  I do think if we don't hit the bye week at 3-1, it's going to be a major uphill battle given the schedule in front of us. This season falls on three people, regardless of schedule strength: Canales, Bryce, Evero.  Canales: Finally can truly coach all aspects of the team and not focus with gameday prep for OC duties anymore. He drives the bus and needs to get these guys in position to win each week. There's no way vets come in and put it on the line every week to watch our QB sh!t the bed (See: SF game last year). Bryce: Despite everyone's obsession with thinking Bryce is a guaranteed extension, I think this year will truly be his "prove it" year. If he comes out the way he has the past three years, I really don't see how vets and coaches can continue to put him under center long-term. He might play out that fifth year as the starter, but I think next offseason his long-term replacement is found. I also think there's no excuses with the weapons and commitment we've made on offense to insulate him with every possible weapon.  Evero: Best personnel he's had since he's been here...no excuses. Figure out how to blitz effectively. Figure out how to use CBs whose strengths are press/man. Figure out how to utilize a talented front-7 to get the hell of the field. Outside of FS and maybe....maybe ILB, there are few weaknesses on this unit.
