Why Gettleman is a GM... and you aren't.

I said he was barely a 5th WR and after remember his faults on special teams I'm strongly considering changing my opinion on that..

He was never supposed to be a return man. He has had some clutch moments for us on third down, shows good hands and strength. Not very good speed, but I don't mind him at the bottom of the roster. I like him over cotchery actually seeing as he's improved every year and cotchery has only declined.

My point is the average NFL team doesn't have a roster of 6 elite receivers. Your depth isn't supposed to have the same quality as your starters. Bersin isn't a terrible choice at the bottom of our roster.

It's the same every year. I'm not expecting anymore solid contributions before the draft. I'll tell you exactly how the rest of the offseason will play out. We'll sign a few more guys that the "company men" will proclaim as saviors and the love fest will begin. Most of those same guys won't be on the roster by the end of the year. Different year same story.

I don't think that's likely. We've shown the willingness to bring in and talk to other players, but if they ask for too much then we'll quickly turn them down.

It's unlikely that we'll bring anyone extremely big nma,e but someone like a Cecil Shorts isn't a far fetched idea. If not, we'll just look to the draft.

So well have our nest rookie class ever, win the division and make the playoffs again?

Cool.

You can make the playoffs every year in a crappy division, I'm sorry I know what the problem is. You're content with just making the playoffs no matter if it's by default. I actually want to win some SuperBowls. Carry on with mediocrity

Cecil Shorts, Hakeem Nicks, Crabtree. Those are some guys I'm talking about that we can afford and instead choose to field Bersin.

So to get this straight..

You don't care that your bottom Wr can't play special teams or start if needed.. Cool..

I'm smart enough to know that even if we win the next three Super Bowls, you'll still be whining and bitching about something.

It's the only thing you seem to know how to do.

This is dumb as fug..

Way to over do the sarcasm when people are making valid points.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
