Olsen was known as a pretty damn good TE when he was traded here.

 

Their GM was just an idiot, and their OC couldn't figure out how to utilize him.

A very talented guy......but raw talent. He really regressed in Turner's system last season. He would offer speed which is lacking at the WR position in Carolina.

Neither has Patterson.  Yet with Kalil, we know he has the potential to play at a probowl level.  Plus, I like his attitude.  He seems to have an edge about him.  That will only increase if he came here and played with his brother and Cam.

CP is not a good teammate and does not have the work ethic. He is NOT a Carolina guy on that basis alone.

 

He doesn't have the mentality of a professional football player. Zimmer effectively staged an intervention after last season. And he's left much to be desired in the performance department. Being honest, most of his big plays came either on kick returns or when he was lined up in the backfield. At a time when the Vikings arguably needed him most (when AP went on the Commissioner's list) he failed to deliver. He was 5th on the Vikings' depth chart by the end of last season and found himself sitting behind the likes of Charles Johnson, Jarius Wright and Adam Thielen.

 

So, sorry if I can't get excited over this.
