NFL files lawsuit against Mecklenburg County for Hardy evidence

I definitely missed this, but have you guys heard about what the evidence logs contain? Photos of:

- Hardy's scratched face

- Hardy's scratched forearm

- Holder's neck bruise

- Holder's chin bruise

- Holder's elbow bruises

- Holder's arm bruises

- Holder's underarm bruise

- Holder's back bruises

- Holder's foot bruises

- Holder's cheek bruise

How the eff did this not get widely circulated? I had been under the impression that there was a bruise on her face and that's it, but Hardy left bruises on her neck, chin, elbow, arm, underarm, back, feet, and cheeks? Holy motherfugging poo son, I've been defending a guilty domestic violence offender for 9 months now?

This is a PR move. The NFL got crucified after failing to get the Ray Rice tape. They are doing this and doing so publicly so that they can show they did everything in their power to obtain the evidence. They know they have no chance of winning this, but they want it to be public record so they can't raked over the coals if pictures of a battered and bruised Nicole Holder do happen to come out(not saying they exist). They are protecting themselves and covering their bases.

You should definitely start a thread about it.

I'm sure you are being sarcastic, I am not really up to speed because I get bored too quickly when they start talking about the ins and outs and what have you's, but that summary is easy and understandable, as well as unfortunate if true.

I hope they also recognize those pics were taken after 9 unaccounted for hours.. not at the scene of the crime. .

Sure, hence why the DA felt like he needed more to pursue the case. But, not talking about guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, what do you think happened? She went and beat the poo out of herself leaving bruises all over her body from head to toe? Do you really think Hardy would have paid her off if he knew she did something that crazy?

That guy beat himself up in Fight Club to get a corporate pay-off, so it's legit. And prolly where she got the idea if she did that.

I think once she acted her way to that Bench trail win with a sympathetic judge. . She knew she was getting some cash..

My perception is (which could be wrong) is they got into a fight.. He was trying to kick her out and she wouldn't leave.. The Cops were called and they were separated with nobody arrested. . She tried to call him and his manager 20x trying to get back with him.. Once she realize it was truly over and he wasn't trying to talk to her..

It was on..

    • Hello, soccer fans [crickets, tumbleweed flies by]. The World Cup kicks off in less than 2 weeks and, well, 🇺🇸USA USA USA🇺🇸 and all. We beat Senegal 3-2 yesterday in a tune-up friendly at BoA, with Christian Pulisic finally entering the scoring column.  How will we do in the World Cup once our tournament kicks off on the 12th? Well, there are 48 teams (assuming Iran is there) and it feels like one of two thing happens: we get grouped for the first time since '98, or we make it to the Round of 16 for the third time in the last four World Cups. I tried out the lottery for an Atlanta game and struck out, so yesterday was as World Cup as I'll get for in-person ($285/ticket for like Norway vs $39/ticket for USMNT right beforehand was a layup).  The U.S. has a travel-heavy schedule in group play, playing in LA, Seattle and LA. Real road warrior mentality being built. Glad the east coast gets worse kickoff times for a NA World Cup than a Qatar World Cup.
    • Well, that's the thing. Drafting players only for their physical measurables as you are suggesting only really happened during 2024, and X unfortunately has become the poster child for that. To be clear, it's not necessarily about drafting RAS over skill, but RAS over NFL-readiness and/or a solid body of work. Lots of players show skill in college, but those skills don't necessarily translate to the NFL for a multitude of reasons. But, getting back to the main point, to be clear, I believe that our FO is still enamored with physical gifts (who wouldn't be?), but now they're letting Dr. Eric Eager's proprietary system--his "secret sauce" prioritize the players that the Panthers draft, and it seems like it weighs not only a solid body of work, relative to a college career of course, but consistent gradual improvement as evidenced by production pretty highly.
    • Its a good article about how pathetically bad our past drafts ('23 and '24) have been. Building the team in '23 since we weren't ready yet and taking your qb in '24 made so much more sense in hindsight. Ladd McConkey over XL is pretty much a given but not sure it does as much to change Bryce's trajectory as the author suggests.  As bad as '23 and '24 drafts were, the '25 and '26 really give me hope.
