Is this real? (Trading Newton)

Driving to make it a one score game in the playoffs and..... Pick six disagrees with you,

It's pretty incredibly idiotic logic to summarize 4 seasons worth of accomplishments with one single bad play.

By this logic, Russell Wilson isn't clutch because he threw a game ending interception that cost his team a Lombardi trophy.

Of course anyone with a few brain cells knows that is not the case, and can recognize this piss poor argument.

Historically you mean one season? He was decent in the clutch in 2013 before that he was awful....

ummm....no he was clutch in college, and clutch since his rookie year.

do we really need to go back to this debunked theory that cam wasn't clutch his rookie and sophomore year? because he was.

Which one has a ring?

It takes a complete roster to accomplish that. It's not just on one player.

That Super Bowl was one of the most dominant defensive performances I've seen. Then on the flip side, it was one of the most pitiful offensive performances by the Denver offense. They may as well have not even shown up for the game at all with that showing.

When was the last time you saw the Seattle defense getting blown out in one game, let alone 6 out of 10 in a single season? We are still building our team, if we want to get to where Seattle is, we need to keep upgrading our offense along with the defense.

This is the big leagues, lots of QBs are clutch in college.

I wouldn't trade Newton for Stafford this thread is moronic, that said I've seen Cam sail passes by throwing off his back foot just as often as he makes a play in clutch situations he is just as likely to make the play as he is to choke because of poor mechanics on his part or holding the ball to long...

That said the best clutch throw I've seen him make I saw in person in the 2013 home game vs the saints the throw to Ginn was a thing of beauty.

When he makes a play that can rival Dellhome to Rosario with no time left he will have clutch in my book.

this post is ridiculous.

I'm not gonna put in more effort then I already have. I suggest looking up teerays thread a couple years ago about cams fourth quarter comebacks in his first two years.

Then off the top of my head. Saints game for the playoff birth, Dolphins comeback, Browns comeback, 49ers drive to give us the lead, Patriots MNF.

If you need the clock to read zero when we score a TD to call cam clutch then there is nothing I can do for you.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
