Jameis Winston and NFL Network

Here is a guy that has some very very serious off field allegations against him, a whole lot more serious then a stolen laptop, and the gushing of these people (Mayock, Warner, and rest) is simply unbelievable

I hope Tampa has a 24/7'guard around him. The types of allegations he has..they better.

Don't know where you get the impression they're gushing over him. The dude's game is real so they're talking about it.

RG3s game was "real" also.

When the chips are down we will see how many people are gushing over him.

Yeah he's got a National championship, but he didn't put the team on his back and carry them..........,*clears throat* Cam? Yeah, he did.

Ive seen at least 20 different tweets from media members including those on the NFL Network saying people think Winston is immature, acts like a 10 year old, an idiot, that people should be scared, etc.

Stop being so damn sensitive and using selective hearing because you can't get over your Cam persecution complex.

Jameis will more than likely do well in the NFL. A lot of parallels between he and Cam's games for sure. I do not approve of how he's being treated in comparison to how Cam was coming into the League. The rampant love for the guy makes no freakin sense and really pisses me off to be quite honest.

Indeed.

Only one player besides Cam drafted from that 2010 Auburn team: Lee Ziemba, Carolina Panthers, 7th round 2011.

How many high round draft picks have come from Winston's FSU teams?

I agree with your points.

I also find it odd that the media trashed Cam (and still does to this day), but seems to have a love fest for Jameis

when he was accused of far more egregious things than Cam.

They seem to have an agenda against Cam and it's pretty pathetic.

I'm not saying Cam is beyond criticism, but some of the things people say about him are really ridiculous.

Not really understanding why people are acting like Winston is the perfect prospect on the field.  He does some special things, no doubt about it, but the guy is a turnover machine.  Very rarely do you see a QB's turnover rate go down when he gets to the NFL and Winston's desperately needs to.

Was he a turnover machine has redshirt freshman year? Cause that year he threw 40tds with only 10 interceptions

Add 6 fumbles as well. 25 TDs vs. 18 INTs and 7 fumbles last season.

No doubt he had a better season his RS freshman season than his sophomore season, which in and of itself is a concern too.

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
