I feel like I'm the only person on Earth that's just sort of 'meh' about Batman vs Superman.

I like Batman.  I like Superman.  Both are two of my favorite super heroes, and I wasn't one of the ones tripping about Affleck being Batman - just the opposite actually... but I don't know, can't really explain it.  I don't feel hyped for the movie whatsoever.

Deadpool on the other hand, though... I was ready for that poo back when it was first brought up nearly 10 fuging years ago.

I'd temper my expectations.

This movie was distributed by 20th Century FOX and the director is a rookie with nothing substantial on his resume. That's never a good mix. I'll try to remain optimistic but I know better than to trust FOX.



Someone hasn't watched the trailer. This movie will be amazing. From the interviews, it seems like Fox pretty much let the writers and Tim Miller have their fun and do what they wanted. Fox just funded it, more or less.

I have, but it was still produced by Fox. A trailer is just a trailer. Wolverine looked absolutely badass as a trailer but we all know what happened there. 20th Century Fox is notorious for screwing up CBMs. I hate them.

Rumor has it that the new Fantastic Four is a lost cause. Trank is already eyeing other projects according Screen Rant and Badass Digest. That would be a shame if true since Mara and Jordan were awesome selections.

That explains why it's not being released in 3D

And why the studio has done a poo job marketing the film too. Thus far, a 'Thing' burger for Dennys and that half-assed TV Spot is all I've seen for the last month and a half.

It's going to be rated R. Studio is pretty treating it the same way they dud the last Punisher movie

I would think there's no way in hell they would put out an R-rated Fantastic Four.

Deadpool is going to be a hard R.  What they've shown in the trailer and concept art alone would qualify it for that.  FF will almost certainly be PG13.

      I was reading through the thread seeing if someone would mention this. This is exactly what the Canes are doing and Tripp Tracy alluded to it on the Spittin Chiclets podcast when he said Taylor Hall was our Sam Bennett. The Canes and Panthers have always played identical with the main difference being Florida toes the line between physical and dirty. The Canes have stepped up the physical play this year and are inching closer to that line of physical and dirty. If I’m being honest, as a Montreal fan I wouldn’t love the fact that the Canes seem to be targeting Hutson but as a Canes fan I love it because this is what you have to do in the playoffs. Unfortunately for Montreal they aren’t an overly physical team outside of Anderson and Xhekaj; only the Avs, Stars, and Sabres average less hits per game than Canadians in the playoffs. The Canadians can still make this a series if they stop playing scared and turning the puck over simply because they are getting elite goaltending while the Canes are getting average goaltending but if the Habs continue to play with the yips and either Andersen steps up or Dobes regresses then this series could end in five.
