The Panthers targeting a tackle at #25 seems fairly obvious. Mock drafts suggest there could be a run on offensive tackles toward the end of the first round, and Carolina is in an excellent position to be part of it.

Yeah, mocks have been loving OT to the Panthers for the last couple of years.  Hopefully there will be one there that we like, but wouldn't surprise me if there's not.

 

I do think that it'll either be OT, WR, or defense.

I really don't see Ot in the first. Most of them are projected at guard/RT in the NFL or a Project LT. I don't see any of them coming in and starting at LT as a rookie and only 1 or 2 that have a future at LT.

It's a bad draft to come into needing a LT.

OT is the new TE. I swear to god every mock had us grabbing a round 1 TE for like 6 years straight.

If I was a betting man, which I'm not, I'd bet we don't pick up a OT in the first. I have no reason for this just have a feeling.

If there is not a clear starting-LT caliber OT at #25, I would bet that we take a DL and WR before possibly addressing OT in the 3rd round or later. Would love to see Lael Collins fall to us, but that's more of a pipe dream
