The Panther King (Video)

This was something I worked on a while back and never got around to finishing it. Took a quick hour to touch it up and finish it, and thought I'd share. A draft video may be on the way of our picks, but personally - I'd rather wait and make a highlight reel of a Shaq Thompson pick 6 with Kuechly running in front of him leading the way blocking, and a Funchess TD in the redzone with KB on the other side drawing all the attention.

Anyways this was a different kind of video compared to others, judge me if you want by song choice, but I figured it would be something more fun than epic, and it is somewhat fitting since a "Panther" is a jungle cat. Keep Pounding!

fug sake, really? You wanna get us pumped up, now?! It's only May :( More so being from England and being away from real football only a couple months an NFL offseason is hard work!

In all seriousness, nice work!

    • I think the player matters a lot(in regards to price specifically). Parsons will likely end up being worth the price because he is unquestionably elite. Burns obviously hasn't been until this year because he isn't a consistently elite pass rusher. He is too easy to shut down with just a single blocker.  Guys like Parsons and Garrett that you have to plan your entire blocking scheme around make everyone on the defense better. Truth be told, that isn't Burns on his current line, it's Dexter Lawrence. But, as you pointed out, situations still matter. Joe Burrow may be a truly elite QB but that doesn't matter a lot when he can't stay healthy or the overall team isn't good. Ask Matt Stafford about that in Detroit.   The Panthers aren't in a position to be liquidating the extremely valuable draft picks we have. Our roster is still a bottom 5 overall NFL roster.
    • I don't hate KK. The Canes overpaid and he's enjoying the benefits.  Anyone who assumed he was going to turn into an excellent player based on what the Canes paid him weren't paying attention. Sure, I wish he was much more physical, he's a big guy, and that's really all I was hoping for when he came to Carolina. Danault is better in the FO circle, better defensively and better down the middle, but it's a moot point now.
