Extra point/ 2 Point Conversion Discussion

The article below highlights the three extra point/ 2 point conversion proposals to be voted on by the league. There will need to be 24 of 32 votes in agreement in order for a rule change to occur.

Which of these, if any, do you like? Do you want the rule to change at all? Which of these do you think would be best for the Panthers?

Kicks from the 15 yd line

2 pt conversions from 2 yd line

Defense cannot score on turnover

B or C, don't really care which. B probably helps us more since Cam can jump over the pile from the 1 for a conversion. Defenses should absolutely be able to score on a turnover so A is out of the question if it were me voting.

Then the defense shouldn't be able to score on a turnover.

No offense would risk it if the defense can score.

None of the above. Each of these would effectively end fake-kick-conversion attempts. I still like the idea of putting it at the 1 for either a kick or conversion.

That said, selfishly option B makes the most sense for us.

I personally think B woud be best for the Panthers, because of how big we are as a team. We have so many 1 yard plays available that have a high percentage chance of scoring.

The issue is, most teams would be able to do the same thing. If B is chosen, would that lead to a 2 point conversion all the time because of how easy it is?

If the offense gets pwned why in the hell can't the defense score? The offense is already given the advantage in today's game.

I wish they'd just leave it alone.  Option B would benefit us the best because we have cam, stew, and tolbert who are tough to stop for a yard.  Our ballhawking defense will also be a factor with their ability to score.  I just don't understand changing it just for the sake of changing it.

I feel like Option B would turn into an every team going for it every time scenario, while Option C would make it more of a mix, so I vote Option C.

I really don't see the need for a change but if there were to be one, option C is the best overall. B would favor us the most with Tolbert smashing thru the middle and Cam's ability to scramble off the play action (or even sneak over the top). Plus Olsen, Funchess, KB, even Swole Bones on the jump ball end zone fade.
