Dave Dameshek, an actual analyst?

Recommended Posts

This is a list projecting the top 10 QBs for 2015. With those two targets we have and exceptional TE play, Cam should be able to put up the stats to justify that ranking if he improves on accuracy alone if you ask me.

agreed.

and all the talk about how is going to round out the WR corps is kind of silly to me. cam will have pretty much 4 targets that 90% of his passes will go to.

1) benjamin

2) olsen

3) funchess

4) whatever RB is on the field

the rest is incidental.

with an improved OL, cam being healthy, KB with a year under his belt, olsen just being olsen, and the addition of the funchess freak, i think we'll see him ranked very highly by some analysts who will either find themselves eating BBQ crow or pretending that they were on his bandwagon all along.

i don't see him with a poo ton of yards or TDs, but i see him being seen the way many of us already see him...one of the most effective QBs in the league and the hardest to scheme against.

we don't need that speed threat, imo. three giant receivers, good pass catching RBs out of the backfield, cam's ability to improvise and take advantage of holes, and an OL that gives him time and space will be more than enough for defense sto handle.

lol @ matt ryan stuck between joe flacco and alex smith

haha i didn't even think about ryan. funny he was considered one of the best in the league in his first couple years. now he's just a game-managing afterthought.

    • Did it?  Its not like he is the first pro athlete to cheat. In fact, its fairly common. Not that many get caught in the manner he did and I suppose that might have more of an impact on his reputation, but in a few years, I doubt this will matter much.
    • He just didn't fit with what we were attempting to do at the position. TBQH, he was an average to below average guy. Hence why Baltimore moved on.  Sucks it didn't work out but we have been searching for The Guy since Kalil retired.  Gross Search 2.0
    • Full honesty... I'd never even heard (or maybe more accurately noticed?) the Nalo nickname until after we drafted him and it's come up so much because people were asking him about nicknames. Arizona fans always just called him T-Mac the last few years and I have no recollection of ever seeing/hearing Nalo.  If anything I saw it and didn't even realize who they were talking about or figured it was some auto correct so I just glossed over it without a second thought. So for me he'll always be T-Mac
