The underlying dark cloud.. Mike Shula!!

I'm in no way attempting to be a Shula apologist. I think he has a lot of room for improvement and hopefully he will. I'm hopeful  now that he has what should prove to be his most versatile and explosive offensive weapons, we will see a positive change in his play calling ability and philosophy.

Jeremy I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work that is put into Carolina Huddle.

I've been a lurker since 2003, and visit the site on a daily basis. This is the best site on the Internet both for Panthers news and fan's takes on the team.

I know all of this wouldn't be possible without the platform that you have provided, and for that you have my thanks!

Overall talent level on the team is back to the 2013 team's standard. An area or two may be weaker than 2013, but an area or two is also stronger than 2013. Even better, we won't have to blow up the WR, secondary, or O-Line groups next off-season to fit under the salary cap.

This version is built for the long-term instead of running on fumes.

Cam has the time to learn/work with his receivers and offense through OTA'S & TC all at 100% thank you Lord" we will finally see the true Carolina offense ran by the Greatest overall QB in the league and he kept up with the top QB'S unhealthy and little time with offense first 4 years so now healthy and READY!!!!

I disagree on one thing, Jeremy. I saw a refined passer from the pocket last season, but injuries and a bad supporting cast got the better off those mechanics that were shown.

I agree. Cam improved as a pocket passer last year. When he had protection early in the year he looked amazing dropping back to throw.

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
