How the hell do you blame someone that isn't even the target of a pass for an interception? Maybe blame the quarterback that telegraphed the throw and was late with the ball. That pass against the Saints was late which caused Bersin to start moving again from where he had originally settled in the zone and was thrown to where he had been and not where he was.

because he was cam # 1 target . play was suppose to be a quick slant to bersin and his doofy ass tripped over his own feet and forced cam to look backside

And in the 17 games before that one last year, Cam's first read was always open. He never had to go to his second or third read on any play until that particular play in Seattle

your butthurt seems legit

I still want my 5th Wr to add something else to the team...

And I want my QB to never have INT's and complete passes at a 100% clip....

As it is, we don't know who the 5th will be, could be Cotch, Ginn, or Philly...are you saying that they don't "add anything to the team"?

as it stands we have one good receiver and a rookie with upside. You consider Ginn a good receiver? LMAO

As it stands, we have two 1000 yard pass catchers on this team.  1 of only 5 teams to have that.  We added Ginn as a 3/4th option in the passing game, and a ST ace.

Bersin and Philly have another year under their belts, and we added a very promising rookie in Funch.

Calm the hell down.

He can catch, but we need speed even the whole coaching staff has said this.  We got enough receivers that can "catch."

Same thing was said about Ricky Proel as a receiver. It is just as much about getting seperation, route running, etc that make a good receiver.

atleast the other wrs gave cam a chance , cam had no chance to throw bersin the ball when bersin was on the floor now did he? that wasnt the first time bersin was taken out of play, he got manhandled by tharold simon which is not  a good corner. bersin should not make this roster we bought in alot of talent at wr. bersin did more to hurt us then he did to help us just look at that drop vs the saints that got intercepted.

We are talking about WIDE RECEIVER not TE. Cotchery was the worst number 2 WR in the entire NFL, the lack of production we got form anyone outside of KB was laughable compared with other teams receivers.

Bersin and Philly are limited and probably wouldn't even have a roster spot on other teams, Ginn just got beat out by a rookie last year. I'm calling a spade a spade

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
