Russel Wilson's agent sent the Seahawks a 16 page letter...

He has no career in baseball.

Texas Rangers would take him in a heartbeat. You are fooling yourself if you think otherwise. Him working out with the Rangers isn't some publicity stunt and if you'd paid any attention to what Russell has said about it the Rangers would certainly use him.

Russell is like 0-298 against the curve ball.

Meh.

He was drafted highly based on potential and some name recognition. As far as his actual baseball career? He was average at best at State and pretty much poo in the minors. He could try it, but he would indeed be a publicity stunt.

I've said from day one, if I was in a sales negotiation with Wilson I would not trust him. He's a kiss ass and seems like a fake goodie two-shoes.

You're absolutely fuging right. We were at NCSU at the same time and I've heard stories that fly right in the face of his public image.

Well tell that to the Rangers GM who has his baseball rights and has said he wants Wilson to play baseball. I'd trust an actual GM. It's more than just a ploy. Rangers legit believe he can play in the majors.

Nah I don't think so. Russell hit like .220 in college and even less in the minors. Him playing for the Rangers would be about putting fans in the stands instead of wins on the board. This is also why the Seahawks are not worried about baseball.
