I'd be shocked if G-Man didn't offer JPP a contract.

JPP would be perfect for our system. One of the most underreported problems with Hardy being out is our run defense. Hardy was our best run-stopping defensive end and one of the best in the league. JPP is just as good of a pass rusher and is also probably the best run-stopping end in the league.

I don't disagree with what you wrote.  I am just interested to see how this affects his play this year.  It's easy to say hey it's just a finger but you never know what that will do to a person mentally.

It has to affect him, yeah. That'd be the only way we can snag him - if it drops his value enough.

Interesting excerpt:

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Pierre-Paul chose to amputate his finger in order to expedite the recovery process. It's unclear whether or not a broken thumb will cause any complications during rehabilitation.

      Just like WR, you thin ignite and then suffer an injury and you are scrambling.  Any RB could have run through some of those those holes though and maybe you don’t get the same xtra yards but you are getting yardage.  It is the pass catching they will miss the most.

      Without Sanders, they are stil catching balls. Sanders is about a giveaway to it will be a pass play.   Also, hoping we see the competition at RB keep both guys on their toes.

      I was talking about pre season hype vs now.  They were talking about him being the best route runner on the team and being unguardable.  Putting people in the blender.  He has had 1 catch the last two games, and before that it was 2 per game. I like Renfrow, but it seems him and Bryce are not on the same page.
