Daryl Williams getting PFF love

How do you get a comp pick for cutting a player? I dont think it works that way.....for many reasons.

Trusnik was an added FA which counts against us in getting a comp pick for Hardy. Anyway, cutting him doesn't help us too much since we would still even in the comp pick formula (Hardy & Bell lost, Tillman & Coleman added).

Funny how Gettleman got hammered by the "pro draftniks" for taking a player with no clear position in the 1st, trading up in the 2nd for a player who was more a TE than WR, and then to top it all off, burned all our remaining picks that weren't comp picks for an OT in the 4th round when he SHOULD have drafted one in the 1st round.

Just imagine how our season would be looking without Shaq, Funchess, and the BIG mean ugly DWill, not to mention getting fresh back-ups for Stewie and Luuuuuuke

I don't think this has been posted yet, but I may have missed it.  Over at PFF, Daryl Williams is getting a lot of notice.  They have him as the best tackle of the rookie class and the #3 rookie overall based on the 1st 3 preseason games.  Love it.

The "experts" are really gonna have to learn they look foolish giving Gettleman such poor draft grades each year.  Our rookies rock.

  1. Daryl Williams, OT, Panthers (5.5)

While this year’s high draft picks at tackle struggle against first-team players, lower down the depth chart Daryl Williams, a fourth-round pick of the Panthers, has been the best rookie tackle of the preseason. Like Easton at center, Williams has allowed just a single hurry (from his 91 snaps of play) and has graded positively as a run blocker in each of his three games.

Do love. And wouldn't you know I'm wearing a Sooners t shirt right now.

While Andrus peat scored a -0.1. As a matter of fact every O-lineman taken in the first round other than Laken Tomlinson has a negative grade. Some very low. I guess it pays not to reach for an OT even though all the wizards of smart said we were stupid for not doing it. Up your butt, Kiper.

What is PFF's evaluation of Oher's preseason?

What is PFF's evaluation of Oher's preseason?

I haven't seen anything on him.  I don't subscribe to PFF's premium content, so don't have access to their full stats.

I think someone posted grades for all players from one or two of the preseason games on here.  Let me see if I can find them.
