Charles Johnson is the LDE as they reported, not the RDE like you reported, unless they moved him this season which I don't recall.  TD might be playing more of the Weakside this season with Shaq coming in to cover the Tight End. Brockel is a blocking TE.

I never read Panthers.com articles as it's way to much fluff and sugar, but get your facts straight.

1st rounders under DG have always started. DG himself has even said that 1st and 2nd rounders are where you find starters.

They moved CJ from LE to RE this offseason. TD has always been the SLB.

 

Yes brockel is a blocking TE but hasn't played this presason and Williams has shown he blocks well and catches well. He's more versatile than Brockel at the TE position, so if it comes down to the #3, B. Williams will be in.

Defense looks solid, still not sold on Ealy as the answer to losing Hardy. Offensive line will finally be a strength on this team, receivers still a weak link with the exception of Funch. Hopefully we can run the ball well enough that we don't get in allot of 3rd and longs.

Johnson was experimented with at RDE in OTA's, but in TC he was starting at LDE while Ealy was RDE. 

1st rounders 'always' started. That makes a grand total of 2 drafts. That's not enough to say that's the way it is.

I'm done with this argument. I think i'm going to go read a PantherUnited thread as it's more enjoyable than this back and forth.
