Thank GOODNESS we didn't cut or trade AJ Klein.  Seriously.... Very glad too we still have Glanton on our PS right now too.

There are things I'd like to see cleaned up, but we're 1-0.  right now, that's all that matters.  Hope all the injured guys aren't out long., and props to Jacksonville.  They're not very far away.

RE: Klein, I laughed in the offseason when people kept writing him off as some also-ran.  The dude has been a baller here since day one and is extremely underappreciated.

typically sloppy opening day performance

the shutout in the second half and being able to grind the clock out was good to see but there is a lot that needs to be tighter on both sides of the ball.  the blocked field goal was disheartening as well.

And we still doubled them on the scoreboard.

Seattle gave up 34 points to an average offense and lost. 

Indy got destroyed again and Luck played Luck complete ass.

we really need to work on our hands....drop passes especially Ted Ginn's wide open drop shouldn't be tolerated. I wish Cam would have got into ass on the  sideline like Brady does....long dick style!!!!

So far our D is leading in fewest points allowed among completed games.  Sweet.

Glad for the win but this game didn't really teach us anything we didn't already suspect about this team.  Our Oline was much better in pass protection but the WR play still left a lot to be desired.  The defense played pretty well but its obvious Jacksonville is no offensive juggernaut so who knows if its our defense or their offense thats more to blame.  Hope the injured guys are back next week.

Yeah, our pass protection was better than our run protection.  Don't forget though that JAX has a new Off. Coordinator though, which meant not much opportunity for film study.

I guess we did the "bend but not break" thing, but it was a close call at times with some big runs by Yeldon.

The line judge on the camera-side of the field was takiing away about a half yard with every spot.  He was terrible.

It was beyond terrible.  He gave Stewart a college spot when he fell down on that pass.  Instead of 3d and short, it was a long 3d and 2.  The spots were off all day.

Why was Cameron Artis-Payne, not extremely involved in running game?

“Jonathan ran hard and did some really good things, so that was good to see. Fozzy played the role he needed and Mike Tolbert did what he needed to do. Probably how it’s going to go. I want to see how many carries we give Jonathan because ideally I’d love to see him get 15, but I know he was in there for about 40 plays, 35 plays and that might be a lot.”

Given how little Stew played in the preseason though, this may have been a good thing to help him really get into the season.
