Shouldn't have thrown it obviously, but his shoulder was also hit.

Is that Funchess to the left? I'm still thinking there was a miscommunication there between him, and Cam.

I think someone posted that Cam said he shouldn't have thrown that regardless even if he was hit on the throw.

He said he was throwing back shoulder to Funchess (which was open) but got hit on left shoulder causing the ball to not have enough on it and was off target and to the inside.

He probably should have eaten the sack but then we would all be on here saying "Funchess was open!!! Garsh!!"

Remember the days when every game was an automatic L if he threw an interception? Thank the Lord that's not the case anymore.

Yeesh - that's just ugly.  Would've liked to have seen Cam step up in the pocket or even just slightly shuffle to the right, but I'll take being 1-0 while these things get worked out.

Pointless to look at this play in a vacuum though without acknowledging the 14 points left on the board from a penalty on the TD pass to Olsen, and the dropped likely TD pass to Ginn.

tbh, i think he is still shell shocked from last year.

It was a poor throw. That's it folks. I'm usually pretty critical of Cam, because I expect a lot of him. This obviously poor throw and the play that Norwell got bulled back into him before he got the ball out with his check down wide open in front of him were the only "WTF Cam" plays. I will take that from our Franchise QB anytime.  Brady, Rodgers, those guys have a couple WTF moments every game too.

Cam definitely needs to work on his small movements within the pocket for sure. He doesn't do much of it, relying on his strength if someone gets a hand on him. Needs to break that habit.
