The ones calling for Brown's head are the same ones that would be roasting Bersin after a drop on a crucial third down, like he did more than once last year.

Its weird how everyone loves Bersin 2 weeks after applauding him being cut.

I don't have the slightest clue why Bersin didn't make the roster. He had the most sure hands of any WR in the preseason. He had a better season last year then Norwood (and knows the playbook, as well), and surely could match the very little Philly did last week. He doesn't drop many passes and isn't as slow as he is made out to be. He'd be a nice compliment to Cotchery and Funchess. The only reason Bersin catches so much poo is because people just assume he is only on the team because he one of the owner's favorites, and not because he can, unlike half our WRs, actually catch the ball.

Ever wonder how we were able to get such a valuable commodity to the practice squad?  Because no one else wanted him on their roster either.  We watch these guys and get attachments and sometimes that makes us believe someone is better than they actually are.  I have nothing against Bersin but he's on the practice squad for a reason.

Id start by giving funches and norwood more playing time. Funches would be starting.  Bash shula in the head with a frying pan and force him to call short quick developing routes. Id dink and dunk if i have too. Take the leash off cam and allow him to audible at the lime and run whenever he wants.

bersin's good enough to be the 5th wr, but IMO 1-4 wr should be guys with potential, versatile, or a walking mismatch. 

 

Brown is neither......it should be a battle between him and bersin really, but that's not saying much,if we could combine the two we'd have a hell of a wr but this isn't dragonball z sadly

No we already have 2 better version of Bersin on the roster (Norwood and Cotchery) if we are cutting or letting Philly go.. We need to either elevate Byrd or bring in another speed guy..

Part of the reason I created the thread. Wanted to see how current attitudes compared to just a few weeks ago.

If we aren't going outside of the roster... I'd rather elevate Byrd to replace Brown.... Not Bersin... Replace speed with speed...
