I miss this face / Benji update

The Observer has a brief blurb about Kelvin Benjamin's rehab - he's making good progress...

They've got a wonderful smiling picture of Benji.  Makes me realize just how much I miss seeing him on the field.  His personality and his play are special.

Although you hate for two guys to have season-ending ACL tears, I'm kind of glad that KB and Stephen Hill can go through this together.  I imagine it helps them both with morale to have one another to lean on.

Keep Pounding KB.  Miss the excitement you bring to our team.

Does anyone know what the odds are of him returning to form?! I guess the good thing is he was really never a speedster so we don't have to be overly concerned about his speed but what about his route running and cuts, confident he can get that back?

ACL repair has come a long way, absolutely no reason he can't be just as good as he was before provided he rehabs correctly (which won't be an issue)

If you want to know how far ACL repairs have come, all you have to do is look at our team. TD should be the poster boy for ACL reconstruction around the league. If he can come back after 3 on the same knee and play at the level he's played at, KB should be able to come back next year and tear it up. Hell, look at what Adrian Peterson did not even 1 year after his surgery...he rushed for over 2000 yards.

Benajmins knee will be just fine in 2016.

I'd guess a super-human like KB will be ready to go for training camp next year, but it might take him two seasons to return to form.  Those injuries can take a long time to fully recover from, but the good news will be just having him back on the field next year.

That said I'm fully in support of the Panthers drafting another 1st round WR.  Even with KB back and Funchess hopefully coming on, Panthers still need help at WR.
