Finally, somebody has called Luck overrated

Skip Bayless said the same. He's been overrated since entering the league. But like chknwing said, it's not Luck's fault. All of his turnovers the first few years were overlooked because they we're winning. Now they're not, so he's regressed. He's a gunslinger that needs to eliminate stupid throws. This season will do more for his growth than the last couple winning seasons, despite all the turnovers.

...Luck is solid...dont bullsht yourself..... this is one of the first Cam vs Luck meetings... it'll go down like Brady vs Manning over the years... btw, i'm a Cam supporter....

Nah, Cam and Luck don't play each other enough for it to be a rivalry.  This is Cam's 5th year in the league, Luck's 4th, and this was the first time they've played each other.  Cam's biggest rival is Russell Wilson.

Yeah, unless Luck goes the NFC or we play the Colts in the Super Bowl every year then they will only meet once every 4 years. Can't really have a rivalry meeting that infrequently.

The Colts have fired their OC because of Luck.

That is sad.

Luck isn't a bad qb.

He has always been more of a gunslinger, rather the more cerebral Manning type, that the media has said he is since before he was drafted.

Gunslinger types tend to have higher interceptions, than then other capable qbs.

I think it was Bomani Jones said something, in reference to the deep bomb to Ginn in OT that would have been the walk-off TD, along the lines of "that was the most athletically arrogant throw I've ever seen, and it hit him perfectly".

Luck will be a good QB for years to come, no doubt. He will need an improved defense to win against real contenders because he will throw more picks, being a gunslinger.

Wilson is Cam's biggest nemesis. That will change because Wilson, I don't think, has the staying power in the league to really push a guy like Cam. Winston will be another Josh Freeman. He'll look decent for a couple of years, but then just implode and be worthless.

Matt Ryan will be a big rival for Cam for the next 5-7 years.

    • Another thread where the Huddle melts down over a Bryce comment.  "Conversations" and "Bryce Young has been signed to a new long-term contract" are still far away from being the gospel.  For a fanbase that has watched two top-3 drafted QBs come here, and us move on, only to see them elevate their play elsewhere, I find it comical. Bryce is flawed but this org is damned if you do and damned if you don't with BY9.  Why would our GM and HC say anything other than supportive about their QB1. Yes, he's extended, but I truly do not think if he goes out and has a repeat of the previous seasons, that he is here beyond 2027. They're giving him every opportunity and surrounding him with a ridiculous amount of assets on both sides of the ball. If he continues to pitch 110 yd/ game and cough up the ball while everyone else is busting their ass, no way Dan keeps him beyond the extension.
    • Ooof, I was not a Proctor fan. I agree w/ a lot of smarter folks than me that he's more of a guard and think his weight fluctuation is going to be something to navigate. I liked Lomu a lot, but figured there would be more talented guys there at 19. I also wasn't big on bringing in a TE via the draft. If it's not a vet (Njoku) or a trade for Mayer or Kmet, I'd just as soon see what the youngsters have. No need cluttering the room with more of the same.
    • Sam Darnold & Bryce Young are two very different Qbs ..just saying the last 25 years approximately 2/3 of ALL  first round Qb's  in the NFL were or are bust.so for everyone who makes it like a Sam Darnold you have two that don't make it or are a bust
