This game is huge for the franchise.

Part of me thinks it'd actually be better for the team's longterm season goals if Carolina were to forfeit this game. Hear me out: They're hurt and on a short rest, and this team they're playing is no joke. If they could get another week to heal up, and still be 7-1 with games against the Titans and Racial Slurs upcoming, that'd be huge.

That being said, I don't expect any team to ever actually forfeit and I look forward to this game.

Did you miss the part where I said  I don't expect it to happen? I just think this team is beat up right now and is in a good place at 7-0, and this will be a tough game to win no matter what anyway.

We didn't miss the part where you said that 'part' of you thinks it would be a good idea to forfeit. Why don't you leave that part of you in the toilet every morning where it belongs.

We got lucky that this matchup is in Carolina.  Rodgers and the Packers are winless in their last 9 attempts at playing a winning team on the road.  This streak dates back to the end of 2012.  Let's make them 0 for 10.

Had no idea of this stat.  It made me look at their road record last year, which was pretty unimpressive.  All 4 losses were by more than 7 points as well.

The only league reputation I care about is the one we already have. It shows up after our games in the opponent's trainer's room trying to piece together their roster after we've smashed them in the mouth.

Oh, hey, some media and other team's fans are starting to say nice things about us. Yeah, great. That and $3.95 gets me a cup of coffee. We have a 7-0 start and now people want to hop on the bandwagon? Fug that. I don't want to see brand new 1s and 59s at the stadium with price tags still attached worn by the same people that started following the Seahawks in 2012.

Now get off my lawn you damn kids

If we get past Green Bay,  we seriously have a look at 16-0.

Been thinking the same thing. Obviously any team could beat us any week since this is still the NFL but our schedule gets extremely easy. Cowboys/Falcons are the hardest games we have. Romo will be back so they won't be as bad as they are now but still think we should win that one. Falcons are soft and their record doesn't reflect how good they are and we'll stomp them both games. Saints could give us a challenge but I don't think they will beat us. The rest is a joke unless the Giants pull it together which I certainly don't expect.

Reputation can also make us a landing spot for quality Free Agents.  You think it was the weather that played a role in La'el Collins choosing the Cowboys this off-season?

Reputation has ALREADY landed us some quality free agents:  Charles Tillman and Jared Allen.  (Ok, technically I guess Allen is not a free agent, he was traded.  But he WANTED to come here.)
