Changing the culture here is going to take time.  And it may never happen.  Winning makes the process go through quickly but we will always be a part of the country where other fans relocate because the Carolina's kick ass.

I was driving on I-40 the other night, listening to sirius NFL and I swear to gawd they introduced 3 callers in a row from North or South Carolina and I waited to hear a Panther question but heard Vikings, Jets and Bengals questions instead.  I called in and said " this is Jeff from Carolina and I will hold for 45 minutes to tell these idiots off".  And I did.

Free Fua was with me all weekend. Ask him how many bars we went to were hanging Panthers gear. 

Meanwhile when I was in Seattle EVERY bar had a ton of Hawks gear. 

Every bar a Panthers bar is a joke.

A large city with team bars? Color me shocked...but yeah, in advertising it I guess it consolidates the fandom to one crappy bar.

as a business owner I can tell you the quickest way to change anything is to use social media to shame them.  Don't be abusive but you can make clear your feelings and let them know you and your friends are not making any plans to visit their establishment anytime soon.  

You don't want to be abusive because the goal is, or should be, to convert them.

Meh, there are "official" bars for various different teams in cities all over.  There's an "official" Panthers bar down in Denver, CO.  I've never been there because I very rarely go down to downtown Denver, but it's there.

Anytime our game isn't a national broadcast (and sometimes when it is) you'll find me at Shelby's.
