One of the things I am most excited about for Sunday is sticking it to Pep

The Peppers story is pretty minimal at this point.  Peppers is still a good player in spurts.  Still very athletic even at his age in the NFL.  We have to be careful of that this Sunday.

Peppers left because he was basically going to be KING of NC and he didn't want a part of that.  Can't blame him for wanting to go elsewhere, live elsewhere and make a crap ton of money, but not be forced to LEAD the State.

How many Super Bowls does he have as a Bear or Packer?  NFC Championships?  It's a wash, time to let it go and just enjoy some football.

Then that's my bad, I wasn't aware. I thought he was never happy with their offer. Either way, I was always a Pep fan, but Sunday I hope we run it down his fuging throat

Don't believe the hype! Peppers wanted a a long term contract, but Hurney basically stonewalled him and ticked him off.

I know. They did offer him a big contract, but it was after the season he had 14 and a half sacks I think. The year before that he only had 2 and half and they weren't hearing his contract negotiations.

I'll say this I would have loved to have Pep back when he went to GB. Him and Cam in the same team would be legendary. I mean Christ imagine if we got Smitty back too. That would be so sick.

However, I don't like the way he left. If it's true that Jerry pissed him off then Peppers is a big baby. Asking him to be a bigger leader after making him the highest paid player in the league isn't that much to ask. He probably knew that doing so would mean he'd get called out for disappearing against back up TEs.

The thing is every single theory about the situation surrounding why he left is complete speculation coming from this message board. There isn't a single thing to suggest that he left due to being upset with Richardson or being gay. It's all just random theories.

And he never took over a playoff game.  If you wanna be a great then show up when it matters most.

eh, KK Short wasn't great last week.  Neither was Davis. Colts gameplan limited their ability to impact that game.  Wasn't a lack of effort on their part.

Peppers was our primary defensive weapon.  Good teams try to minimize their ability to influence a game.  Unrealistic expectations.  JJ Watt disappears.  Hardy disappears.  Name any elite DE/DT and there are tons of games each season they appear to do little.

Don't really care anymore. Remember he was about to come back here last year before the packers swooped in. It's too bad now, he would be huge for us.

its gonna be a lot more of a pain in the ass to play hardy. Peppers may have been motivated to beat us, but I worry that hardy, who is crazy, will have worse intentions against Cam.

Fug Hardy and the horses his misfit teammates ride in on.
