I don't see why we don't represent NFC in the Super Bowl

There is not a single team left on the schedule that matches up well against the Panthers.

The Patriots weakness is up front with pass protection and their LBs/DBs issues with coverage. The Cards weakness is run blocking up the middle with the power running game. Both are easy to attack for the Panthers.

The Panthers weakness is deep in their safeties and nickel back coverage, and their receivers dropping the ball while being easy to bracket. The issue is the other team has to keep the Panthers from getting to them with the pass rush/blitz and shutting down Cam's running ability with the threat of the deep pass, play action, and run/pass options before they can even exploit these weaknesses.

Good luck!

Sorry to burst the bubble here but you guys realize that we are at the halfway point of the season right?

this thought process is basically the same as calling the win during halftime of a game.

Lets enjoy 8-0 no doubt, but know this is the NFL and you should know any given Sunday anything can happen.

We can go 16-0 just as fast as we can go 8-8. I'm concerned with the Titans right now. They're our Super Bowl this week. We have to beat them and crush them and make them pay for being in our way this week. Washington doesn't exist, Dallas doesn't exist, New Orleans doesn't exist, Atlanta doesn't exist, Tampa doesn't exist. Just Tennessee.

Yeah I don't see why we can't either. But the NFL is fickle, you don't see what sort of injuries and bad breaks are waiting for you. We have been dealing with tons of minor injuries but overall we've been fortunate to not have the big ones. We really need to lower the play time for our veterans over the next 8 weeks in my opinion.

I see Panthers vs Bengals in the SB....Cam leading us to victory!

Battle of the big cats.... rumble in the jungle.  (We need Cam to wear that Tshirt again...!  LOL).

Oh, and also that would be the battle of the Queen Cities.   Epic.

I know you guys have good intentions, but seriously... we have 8 more regular season games and then have to win playoff games.

Let's focus on next Sunday and worry about that.  I'm sure that's exactly what Rivera is telling the team, at least I hope he is...

You are right, All yesterday's win means is that we will finish no worse that 8-8.

Although as fans, we can focus on any game and it has no impact.  :)

    • Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.
    • I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.
    • Okay as a ‘take CJ’ fan I actually don’t obsess over CJ and Houston, contrary to the narrative.  But I thought I picked up some noise that his OL left a lot to be desired.    Not a single Beyce supporter would judge him harshly if he had a crappy OL. We all know that.    So be fair about it.  A QB needs to be protected.  Especially a guy that gets to his spot and wants to finish the play from there. Which CJ is.
