Panthers could clinch playoff spot in November.

We "clinched" the last two games early and then let the opponent see a crack in the door.  Maybe that is why the players were not celebrating a big win....clinching a playoff spot is great but is not the goal.  The players know they have a chance here to win HFA and go on to win it all, but they have to keep pounding, no letup.

Today on some show on the mothership, Merrill Hodge and Jaws both said they want to see and undefeated Panthers and an undefeated Patriots in SuperBowl 50.

That would be epic.  I'd rather the Patriots never win again and be contracted and an undefeated Panthers team beat an undefeated bengals team.

That's just me though.

That would add an exclamation point to the revenge tour. No one will ever forget 03

Hadn't really noticed the 2-game dropoff from sixth to seventh in the NFC. The teams right outside - Seattle, St. Louis, and Philly - sit at 4-4 (New Orleans 4-5). Obviously the 4-4 teams can only get to 12 wins, and we hold the tiebreaker over Seattle and Philly. So long as we go .500 from here on (and the Rams lose at least one game, or we maintain the conference record tiebreaker), then we're in with a wildcard bid at worst. And that's assuming those other teams go undefeated from here on out. Basically the wild card "Magic Number" is 4.

More importantly, we could potentially clinch the division a week later with a December 6th win in New Orleans. This would also mean we would've clinched BEFORE EVEN PLAYING ATLANTA.

The scenario: Falcons can max out at 13 wins (Saints and Bucs can get 11), and are on bye this week, but follow with games vs. a seemingly resurgent Colts, the division-leading Vikings, and... the Bucs. We have the Titans, Redskins, Cowboys, and Saints. IF we can rattle off another 4 straight, and the Falcons drop 2 of those 3, we'll have the division won before our Week 14 showdown.

Also, the game in Atlanta on Dec 13 looks like a real possibility for the Panthers to clinch the south.

In Atlanta....again......lol

You all better go

Wait no, that game is in Charlotte... and what a game it will be.

Again, in Charlotte, we all better go!

Gotta watch those cheating Pats like a hawk, they would infiltrate BOA front offices to gather Intel, hidden cameras, fake employees...etc...

And of course Bill Belicheat (being an Evil Wizard) can appear and reappear anywhere he wants.....
