Sam Mills up for HOF vote

The saints are tweeting out asking for followers to vote for Sam Mills.  I know we've had posts about this but can't get them to pull up in search.  I know the player chooses which team he goes in as but does anyone know if Sam Mills family has made a decision?  Any chance he goes in as a Panther?   It won't affect my vote, I already voted for him as saint or Panther.... just curious.

They are whittling a list of 108 players to 25.  Lots of names on their that I totally did not agree with so I came nowhere close to voting for 25.  But the second link is a good article about why Sam belongs without gawdy stats.

Hmmmm, I'd say the Panthers have done more to carry on his legacy, but he was probably a better player with the Saints (not by much because he was really solid for us).

It's not baseball. He'd go in as a Saint and Panther. Just like we technically have just as much ownership of Reggie White in the Hall of Fame as do the Packers and Eagles.

Yep. In the NFL you don't go in as a member of a certain team.

You don't go in as a member of a particular team.  Reggie White has the Panthers logo under his name same as the Eagles and Packers.  http://www.profootballhof.com/players/reggie-white/

Would love to see Mills in.  My question is when he gets in the HoF (I'm speaking it into existence) who would do his speech for him or have they abolished deceased HoFers having someone do a speech on their behalf or "introducing" them.
