This is a stacked class with Favre, Warner, TO, and Faneca all being first timers on the ballet.. Don't think either of these two make it this year.

I don't know, I really think Mills has a shot at making it in. Won't be surprised if he doesn't, but the "inspirational" narrative is going to carry him far, me thinks.

I don't think Mills will be first ballot but I think he has a good chance down the road.

I love SM like the rest of you but KG led the league in sacks, attitude and hair.

Swag was to the moon with Greene.

But Mills the OP (Original Panther) got his own statue.

i don't know!! I can't make up my mind.

edit: I just realized that while my team is about to go 11-0, I have to struggle with which Panther great I would rather see enshrined in Canton.

Ain't life grand?

sam mills has not shot at the Hall unfortunately. he definitely won't make the next cut. Kevin Greene has a much better shot.

Sam Mills was part of one of the greatest LB corps in history when he was down in NOLA, was a premier player when he was in Carolina, went on to be one of the more respected posistional coach around the league, and since his death has become one of the central figures in a team's culture. That's to say nothing of his actual battle with cancer.

He has a definite shot, and a much better one than Greene ever will.

I am not arguing who is better. All I'm saying is that if you think mills has a much better shot than Greene, then your just haven't been following the process. This is mills 1st year as a semi finalist. This is greenes 6th. Greene has been an actual finalist multiple times. Many have predicted him to make it this year. Greene is top 5 all time in sacks. To say mills has a much better shot than Greene is not just flat out wrong, but ridiculous.

    • 5 straight completions in the 4th quarter to get into the red zone and then score a stand up rushing TD and celly in one of the best defenses faces to bring the score within 1 possession against the super bowl champs is "stunned" to you?
    • yes, if you read what I said - that was due to his record breaking 245 yard 4th quarter performance in garbage time when the Seahawks were already celebrating. If Bryce puts up big numbers in the 4th quarter, people like you are quick to call it garbage time stats but seem to get selective when other QB's do it because it doesn't fit your narrative.  also, I'm logical enough to admit that Drake is a great QB and his performance had a lot to do with his protection, play calling, and other aspects. The game does not fall completely on the QB. Just like how the Panthers were still in the game vs Seattle until Horn's penalty changed that. It is a team sport, so many factors, players, refs, coaches are involved and it only takes one thing to change the game. the obsession with Bryce is just nauseating at this point and if you pay attention on here, it's the same 10 users quoting and pieing each other. it's super weird and everywhere else you go, opinions on Bryce are trending upwards. the way the season ended, the vibe at the stadium, the performance, should have everyone excited about this next season. Idk, maybe I just look at life and my entertainment outlets differently than others.
    • Are we sure something hasnt happened to him because that seems pretty shitty to simply abandon this place
