I kind of want to show this video to my mom to get her reaction but I'm sure she's just going to think it's no big deal

watching football with extended family on turkey day is eye opening. Apparently all these guys are "thugs". There are so many things they take issues with that I don't think twice about.

I had to down beer after beer to avoid such convos..   It stems from his "cockiness"  now that there are fewer and fewer things to gripe about.

Mind blowing.   People are so far from self-aware when it comes to what truly sparks these reactions.

Thug is just the censored way of calling someone the "n word" nowadays

Yeah I hear the exact same word bandied about. "He's too cocky"... well he's got every right to be alittle proud. Besides, these people don't understand that Newton is an entertainer. He's the first entertainer this franchise has ever had. Even Steve Smith, with all his drama, wasn't a limelight guy.

Cam has put in the work, and endured three losing seasons and two playoff heartbreaks. He has improved his game and is having the best season of his NFL career, not to mention his team is undefeated. If that doesn't give someone a reason to dance after his TD celebrations, idk what does.

Not really. I consider white trash to be thugs too. Same goes for biker gangs, Occupy rallies, politicians, MS13, and the like. The term thug implies a lifestyle to me, not a skin color.

I see the word Thug being used more as a generalization personally. Like someone calls a black person Thug because they're really thinking the N word. They call a white person Thug because they're really thinking White Trash. I see people using Thug when they really mean lowlife scum. Thug just seems to be the new norm since they can't call people what they really want.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
