Nfl.com Panther's should fear Bucs

Bucs are playing much better football now than they were when we first played....but so are we.  They haven't passed us and our next meeting is at home and our last tune up before the playoffs.

In other words, we ain't skeered.  This Panthers team will fear no one.

Not nice!

If that was someones first response concerning Cam; we wouldn't like it. So why should we like this one?

No biggie. But just saying. LOL

Cam has never been accused of rape, he just wanted a laptop so he could get some homework done! Everyone knows you don't have sex with drunk chicks that you just met. If I have sex with a drunk chick I make sure I've known her for a while and have texts/pictures backing me up that she wanted the D. At the very least Jameis is stupid.

Yeah. But whether right or wrong; I have so forgotten about Jameis and all that stuff now, it appears irrelevant to me.

Plus, the thread is about the Bucs vs Carolina. Not Jameis vs Cam. And I wouldn't be so afraid of the Bucs, I would start referring to his previous Rap Sheet.

But to each his own, I guess?

The Bucs are the one team improving and it's our very last game.  He's assuming we might rest the starters if we've clinched home field advantage for the playoffs.  Otherwise, no way they beat us at home this year.  The only thing they have to play for is the spoiler role.

What's the deal here? Jesus Christ you people get salty about the dumbest sh*t. What he said was on point. Considering who is left on our schedule, I fear the Bucs more than the Saints, Falcons, and Giants tbh.

The other's on the show gave a semi correct answer as in no one should scare the Panthers. The Panther's shouldn't fear the Bucs, that's absurd. They shouldn't be fearful of any team in the NFL. You trust the gameplan and go in and execute it to the best of your ability and let the best team win.

My point in my post was the wording of the article and the fact that he forgets who the 4 Ints came against.

From that perspective, of course the Panthers should fear no one. We can beat any team, any day, any place if we execute like we've been doing the past 15 regular season games. I agree though, the wording wasn't the best although I get what he was trying to say. But yes, it was lazy of him to fail to mention who those 4 int's came against.

Edit: I didn't watch the segment, was he talking about the teams left on our schedule or the playoffs? If he was talking about we should fear them in the playoffs then he is out of his mind.

The question asked was what team does carolina not want to see in the playoffs not on their remaining schedule .. But it is early .. Get that coffee started fellas

Regardless of what was asked or how it was intended,  Billick answered the Bucs and that is what we are discussing.

Unlike others here I have watched the Bucs play this year..

No, they aren't a threat to the Panthers..

Its like you guys think the Defense will suddenly collapse and play like the Bucs or the Bucs defense will suddenly become elite and play like the Panthers..

Stop feeding into the media..every week they will pick a team that can beat us and some of you fall into the trap..

Go ahead and keep using that Motto of "Any given Sunday"..I'm going to stick with "KeepPounding"..

    • They can get film of all the games? Every team? Wow! Who knew… Our games with them are big examples of why they are in  the CB market so hard.   It is the study they do getting ready for the games.  Preparing to play against is a little different than just analyzing film in scout mode. Deeper dive. Then you are analyzing post game too.  This goes to why players often change teams but stay in the division. The opponents know each other on a higher level.  Plus if you lost to us, you used to get fired. Now you have to trade your first round pick. Moving up on the world.
    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
