Nfl.com Panther's should fear Bucs

I'm going to toe the company line on this one and say that we should fear all 4 teams left on our schedule.  With the exception of the Giants they are all Division rivals and ALL of the will be trying to knock us off the top of the hill.  Some coaches are playing for their jobs and some teams are playing for division titles and wild card spots, and some QB's are going to try beat us to gain respect.

Our team needs to be focused and ready.

The most feared opponent on our schedule is the next one!!

The Bucs are the one team improving and it's our very last game.  He's assuming we might rest the starters if we've clinched home field advantage for the playoffs.  Otherwise, no way they beat us at home this year.  The only thing they have to play for is the spoiler role.

Spoiler? Couldn't be more wrong than this. You realize if they win their next two games they are 6th seed and basically control their own destiny.  Do you really think that losing to them the final week means nothing.  Imagine the confidence if they came back two weeks later

"yeah he's thrown nine interceptions, but four of them came in one game. If you take the one game away, he has really shown that his ability to get the ball down the field"

4 INTs in one game. That's the game he played the Panthers. Billick being a dumbazz

Yea but their 5 loses came in 10 games, take away those 5 loses and they're undefeated.

The Saints have been playing pretty good too. Their defense sucks, but they have won most of their games since we played them.

With a Saints loss today, they will be 4-4 since playing the Panthers.  With one of the worst defenses of all time, they are hardly the biggest threat on the schedule.  It doesn't mean they can't beat the Panthers at their place but if you are picking a team, it wouldn't be them.

Can you explain how they only need to win their next 2?  I don't see that.

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
