So you're going to blitz Cam and double-team Olsen? LOL How many players do you have on defense, 15?

Bucky knows better, I think he was put up to presenting the contrary point of view for the sake of argument on this show.

Just put the "WHOLE" team on Cam and Olsen.  When I say Whole team I mean everyone on offense, defense and the bench riders.  Then, just maybe that plan will work.

Um...I just watched the rest of this video. The points he makes are actually legit. It's just that comment about doubling Olsen has not been working, because of Cam and his new found ability to spread the ball and make precision throws. He does have a point about not facing an elite offense yet. Closest we've come to that was the Packers, and they didn't have Jordy Nelson.

The Cards are the only threat we have in the NFC. That's a fact. Bucky is right about that. He's wrong about selling though. Carolina is too strong as a team in general to not battle for a win against AZ. Especially at home. If it was on the road, then I'd say it would be more favorable for AZ.

This game will be played. Unless AZ shits the bed. I'm still confident that we'll win though.

Arizona hasn't faced an elite offense either. If there's anything to compare between the two teams, both offenses have put up points in a shootout when needed.

panthers are mediocre in total offense, supposedly.

total offense includes yards per game, which our defense doesn't make possible giving our offense short fields consistently.

judging on total offense is a waste of time and a bad argument to make.

So Bucky does not believe in the Panthers.  Heath Evans said we are definitely the best and most complete team in the league.

You know what both of these mean?  Absolutely nothing...neither's opinion has anything to do with winning games and making a run at the SB.

the Huddle has lately become a microcosm of today's younger generation....needing constant validation and praise from external sources..worrying about someone dissing or disrespecting you.

enjoy the fact that these guys are proving his little they know and how we keep embarrassing them.  Just like what I have done all year at my office.  Several guys parrot the same things week after week....I just keep giving them that look each Monday morning as they are wrong yet again.  It is an entertaining game I am playing with them.

let it go youngins.

I have no idea who Buckaroo Bonnie is or whatever his name, much like all the other people who don't believe in the Panthers. And just like those who do see how good we are, they are irrelevant. Wilbon on PTI said he loves the Panthers, but picked the Cowboys to win, and then never acknowledged our win over them. Fyck'em all.

Cotchery has proven that he isn't chopped liver, Ginn has shown he will make plays when given the opportunity, Funchess is a true dark horse, and Brown will make some key plays as the forgotten man at points during the game. Doubling Olsen is hardly a winning formula. Cam will make you pay either way, blitz or not. This is how this season has played out.

As i said in another thread, same tired ass message we've heard all year. Our Panthers will just have to prove them wrong.

What i love the most is, all the doubt and naysayers are just fueling this team. They are taking it personally. So keep doubting, it is only helping us on our way to the SB.

The problem with being on the top of the mountain is that everyone wants to knock you off and are jealous you are there.  I love that we are so relevant at this point and that people are trying to find teams that could bump us off.  I would love to face Arizona in Carolina for the NFCCG.  As long as we keep doing what we are doing who cares what folks think.  I know I don't.

BTW I don't remember anyone giving us much credit in 2003 either and we were a field goal away from winning it all.

Double Greg, and blitz Cam. Ok, that's 6 defenders, minimum blitzing Cam and the two that are covering Olsen, 8. Patrick Peterson covering Ginn, 9. LB covering Stewart on a flat 10. Someone covering Philly, 11......wait who's covering Funchess on the corner route? Too late 20 yard gain.

    • I don't have a dog in this fight (I use an antenna and almost never miss the game), but I don't read tukafan21's post as defending the corporation. He just laid out the math.
    • Because it's not that bad, it is literally saving people money if they don't live near the team they root for and are able to get them on local TV every week. Do I wish it was cheaper? Sure, of course. But I can also objectively look at it and say it's saving me money compared to needing to go watch it at a bar ever weekend.   And before anyone says to just stream it, I did it for a while once Covid hit, partially because we were so bad so I didn't care about the problems with it, but it was just awful.  To begin with, sometimes they just flat out didn't work, sometimes the quality sucked, sometimes it would just buffer every 30 seconds and be nearly unwatchable. The $450 this costs for the season is a significantly better deal than the $180 I have to spend to watch Wrexham matches for the season.  That pass, you have to sign up for an individual team and you only get their games (and not even all of them sometimes).  At least with Sunday Ticket, you get every single non national or local game, which again, is amazing for fantasy football junkies.
    • I honestly don't think that was as true as most believed. Cam was a very efficient passer in Norv's system and again in his year in NE. I think we hurt him in his development and as an overall QB trying to tailor TOO much to his unique talents. The read option should've always remained a staple, but after year two the passing game should've evolved into a more typical modern day NFL passing offense vs. an obsession with chunk play deep ball setups.
