Looks like Fox's "A" team will be at the poo dome this Sunday. Be prepared for Buck's fugly ass beard, lots of Brees slurping, Saints excuses, and monotonous play narration. "Newton! Endzone! Pass is...caught!" 

I'm muting the TV and tuning into the Spanish broadcast. But at least we get to see Erin Andrews on the sideline.

For sure they are. At least where I live, it seems like a lot of people want us to lose. I had a guy at work tell me "panthers are going to lose. I've never been more sure of anything more in my life. No way Brees puts up two dud games in a row"

Who in the hell else would you prefer? People gripe about every announcing duo like there's another definitively better. I'll take anything over the C teams.

Brees can tear us up if given the time.   But that is a big If. 

Our secondary should tighten those receivers up and give our Defensive Line a chance get to Brees.

IMO the N.O. game was probably the closest we came to losing.  If it wasn't for an amazing Norman interception we were at least playing OT.

They follow the Packers and the NFC East teams around constantly, it wasn't hate it's just they know so MUCH more about them then us.

Thom Brennaman, who we've had for a few games, is very good. So is Jim Nance, although sometimes that's offset by Phil Simms' idiotic drivel. The SNF and MNF crews are great. And Troy is not half bad most of the time. I just cannot stand Joe Buck and his delivery or personality. He and Rhonda Barber are really the only 2 TV guys I've heard most people complain about.

Simms is so so bad. Concussed forever. Travesty he's paired with Jim Nantz. 

I like him a lot because he's so smart but a lot of people gripe about Collinsworth. 

Brennaman comes with Charles Davis who I can take or leave.

And that's the point. Opinions are mixed. There is no holy unquestioned duo when it comes to the announcing booth. The C team guys are C team for a reason, they're not as talented, and the A team guys, let's face it, don't know our team as well and it reflects in the knowledge they bring to the game. Which is what many wrongly perceive as bias - if you stop and think about it does anyone really think Joe Buck or anyone else is emotionally invested in the game's outcome?

I didn't get to see the GB game, but I think Buck has gotten slightly better over the years. I don't mind Aikmen. I think the best duo is Tirico-Gruden followed by Ian Eagle-Dan Fouts.
