Ahead of what should be an epic show at UFC 194, UFC president and matchmaker Dana White picked the winners of a few hypothetical matchups that would probably break every pay-per-view record in existence if they were to actually happen. White lauded Texans star J.J. Watt’s athleticism, but picked him to lose in a heavyweight battle against Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

“Gronk is one of those guys who’s running down the field and they’ve got the nastiest defensive players in the league — and he’s shaking them off like they’re playing Pop Warner. I’m going to go Gronk by KO.”

White’s other picks? He likes Steph Curry over Kristaps Porzingis in what would be the upset of the century, Bill Belichick over Rex Ryan, and Tom Brady over Cam Newton.

6'2 ft, 218 lbs vs 6'6 ft, 260 lbs

Traditional QB with Zero Athleticism vs Genetic Freak with Elite Athleticism

A Natural Middleweight vs A Natural Heavyweight

Middleweight limit is 160. A 6'4 (Brady is 6'4 not 6'2) Middleweight would have freak reach and length advantage and be skinny as hell. Sugar Ray Robinson was pretty damn tall for a middleweight at 6'0. I get what you're saying just nitpicking.

Brady is NOT 6'4 ft. Cam towers over him. He may be 6'3 ft at best but 6'4 ft????? No way, Jose.

I'm referring to MMA weight classes. Brady is around 200 lbs during the season but he weighs around 188 during the off-season. Brady is a natural Middleweight.

Cam is 6'6 and Brady is 6'4. And there is literally zero possible chance Brady is 188 in the offseason or 200 during the season. He's listed at 225. May not be completely accurate but the numbers that you just pulled out of your ass are ridiculous.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
