Playoffs at this point

Seattle will be a slog.  Likely our hardest fight of the postseason, including the Super Bowl.  They're the hottest team in the NFL right now, and they look scary.

If we make it through the divisional round, our chances will look very good.

I completely disagree that they are the hottest team in the NFL.  We are the hottest team in the NFL and have been since week one.  We blew out Atlanta and though they are bad they are better than the Ravens.  Minnesota got blown out against Seattle and was riddled with injuries throughout the game to several key players on defense.  But they are without a doubt playing well and Russel Wilson more than that.  Losing Rawls hurts them though because they rely heavily on the run and aren't as good when they become one dimensional.

Nothing scientific, but it looks like Carolina and AZ will be sitting at home during the bye week.

1st Round games look like

Minnesota at GB

Seattle at Wash/Philly

GB wins and goes to AZ

Seattle wins and comes to Carolina

At least that is the way it is looking at this point.

Leaving NYG's out of the equation in the NFC East?  I still think any one of the four could win it, although it looks like Dallas's chances are fading in GB.

Other than the NFC east, I think you have the teams correct.  But I think MN might still win its division and Seattle's run game is hurting right now.

Atlanta being better than the Ravens is marginal, at best.  Both teams are god awful.  Both teams were dominated by playoff teams (Carolina and Seattle).

Minnesota's failure is more dynamic, but beating a playoff contender by 30 points is more impressive than scraping by the New Orleans Saints.

Like I said if they had beaten the Vikings at full strength by 30 I wouldn't be so suspect.  They literally lost at least 7 starters early in that game and a few of those were their dline and that is their strength.  But I'm not downplaying Seattle at all, if anyone knows what type of team the Seahawks are it is Carolina.  With that said, we are still the hottest team in the NFL and to say other wise is marginal at best.  13-0 or 8-5, 17 game win streak or 3?

Seattle RB Rawls out for the year with broken ankle, interesting.

Marshawn will be back by playoffs, but Rawls was looking twice as good as him even when Marshawn was healthy earlier. Lockett and Baldwin have been on fire recently though, getting wide open at will. Haven't gone up against any good CBs or any physical CBs though so I don't think Josh and Peanut would have any trouble with them. Also Hawks haven't gone up against any good pass rushes in the past month that they've been "on fire." Not really that worried about them in the playoffs. Would rather face them than a sh*tty NFC East team that could pull anything out of their ass.

I feel confident playing Seattle, I feel confident playing anybody, but I would prefer not to, especially first.

1) It will be a close game.  We should win but if both teams play their best it is still close enough that a bad bounce or call could cost us

2) More importantly, that will be a tough and physical game.  I would prefer not to have one of those right before playing Arizona.

I would much rather steamroll Minnesota and be fresh for the Cards

Philly could possibly beat Seattle.  Dont write that off yet.

This is something I've noticed. Philly winning AT NE got their confidence on 100 right now. Any team going there will be more difficult than Washington, Dallas, and NY so I'm rooting for them to win out. There's so many diff scenarios right now in the NFC though.
