ESPN First Take: Cam can't lose a game if he wants to win MVP

This. I hated Russel Wilson before this season because I always thought he was a system QB and would get exposed on a weak team and boy is he proving me wrong. I'm really looking forward to the clashes Cam and Wilson will have throughout their careers. Cam vs Wilson will be the new Brady vs Manning

It's still mostly quick throw/one read throws (from the pocket lately), and sand lot QBing (to start the season and yesterday's game).

So let's see what happens when he plays good teams, and they adjust?

Let's just say, he doesn't look nearly as composed and calm, scanning the field like Cam does.

It's sad, but that statement probably has some truth to it.

For reasons we've been over a hundred times, there is a segment of journalists/fans that will never like Cam and look to slight him any chance they can.

If the Panthers go 16-0, there is no possible way to argue against Cam as the MVP. If they lose one or two, as poor as the argument would be, there would be folks giving the MVP to Brady or Palmer.

Funny thing is, Brady and Palmer would probably come close to splitting votes. The NFL isn't like the NBA voting, meaning the players are not ranked as most deserving. You either receive the vote or not, so unless the voters colluded to only vote for either Brady/Palmer, Cam would still probably win based on the level-headed voters.

Why is palmer even in the conversation? He has 7 fewer total td's than Cam with maybe the best weapons on offense in the league and 2 more losses with arguably a better defense than ours.

Stephen A said this and while it was dumb he did say he thinks he should be the win it.

It was Bayless that was actually rambling nonsensically, saying that Cam had only maybe just now caught up to Brady and that one of the reasons Tom Brady should win it is because he started 7/7 against the Titans (you know the same team Cam started 11/11 against)

cam cemented it yesterday. running for 100 yards in place of his starting running back and throwing for 300+ and 5TDs. that is absolutely bonkers.

Yup Yup

Clowns like Dilfer (who no doubt never watched), now say 'he's learn to throw in the pocket, but wow, he can still run like that/yesterday'!

Duh. Just like yesterday; in the past; Cam had an inconsistent run game. So he had to run more to compensate. That's what these clowns didn't realize.

And he could always throw from the pocket. He was never a sandlot QB like the rest of the "running" QB's, largely/probably because of his enormous size.

I seriously don't think it's a "race" thing, white people are talking about Wilson being the MVP.

Dont really understand why he can't lose a game, everyone else has lost multiple games, and none of them( maybe with the exception of Wilson) accounts for a bigger % of their teams offense.
