They've been blowing up social media sites and such for weeks. I think its likely youre seeing a lot of their bandwagoners starting to confront the reality that their time is done. Them seeing us get respect is driving so many of their fans nuts.

I've said for quite awhile they are/were the Bad Boys Pistons and we are the Bulls on the cusp of the greatest dynasty of the salary cap era.  I think many of their fans know it too, and like you said, it drives them nuts.

They did blow them out 4 weeks ago. Pretty natural for fans to assume the same would happen again. Kind of like how most here thought the second Atlanta game would be a pushover.

Minnesota was missing their 3 best defenders in that game (Joseph, Barr, and Smith)....and lost a 4th defensive starter (their other safety) in the first quarter.  They are healthy now.

Isn't it suppose to be like a high of 13 in minn this weekend?

Seems like that would play in the vikes favor with AP and dink and dunk. Marshawn is I guess suppose to be back but he's missed a ton of time.

seahawks fans are annoying as fug.

Incorporating Lynch back in could be tricky.  There recent style has gone away from the Lynch ground and pound.  So they will have to figure out what there identity will be going forward on O

I know. It's also supposed to be way colder this time around as the high is supposed to be 14 that day when it was mid 30's on December 6th. I have the Vikings pulling the "upset" at home. Zimmer is not the type of guy to let an embarrassment like what happened earlier in the season happen again. He will have them pissed off and ready to go.

Sadly, their fans won't be taking the field for the Wild Card round. The players won't overlook the Vikings, BUT the Vikings have a guy who's an amazing running back who seems to be able to create yardage regardless of the defense he's playing against or the offensive line he's running behind. That should scare anyone. Also, some will reflect on the game that these two teams played a few weeks back. If I recall correctly, the Vikings were missing a few key pieces on defense and had a few of their athletic LBs knicked up. Their defense CAN contain RW. Will they? Who knows, but they have the players in place to make it hard for Russ (even harder if it's 16 degrees). Think the key to the game is the Vikings ability to limit big plays from Seattle (RW runs around and chucks a deep ball) and get Kyle Rudolph involved. Vikings have a lot of team speed on offense and will be a tough matchup athletically if they can get a run game going. That will be an interesting game for sure.

Yeah from my understanding they have gone to more 3 receiver sets, moving Baldwin to the slot. RW has thrived in that. I'm wondering if the skittle monster has such a pull on that org that they will force him in there as a sign of respect and his leadership on that team. And I'd imagine he would be rusty. Maybe they will slow roll him in.

really think ppl are underestimating the vikes in that frigid weather with AP and teddys short to intermediate prowess. That's how you win those kinds of games when you can't feel the fuging ball.

The issue that Minn had in the earlier game against Seattle was on defense.  They allowed Seattle to get out to a multi score lead because they were without 4 defensive starters (and their 3 best).  This took Peterson out of the game and put it all on Bridgewater....bad thing.

With their defense healthy and their secondary being very good, I think they keep this close and AP will be able to be a major factor the entire game.  Not sure if they pull off the upset, but I think it will be a close game.

I think the game will be much closer this time - the Vikings are healthy, coming in following a division-clinching win over their hated rivals, and they have the best running back in football.  It's all about whether Bridgewater can make the plays when he needs to.  But yeah, I lurked the Seahawks message board this morning and saw how overrated we were, how Wilson was MVP over Cam, on and on.

Teddy already wears gloves so he might have a cold weather advantage there too. The cold won't get to his hands as much as it would another QB.

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
