Panthers-Seahawks (This is OUR revenge game)

We got this folks.  What I'm excited about:

-Cam can open things up for our running game like last time against them.  We had like 130+ rushing yards.

-Olsen matches up great against them and they don't have a Graham anymore

-Our WRs are much more in sync at this point in the season

-Our LBs have the speed to match Wilson as usual.  Hopefully no huge runs or fluky plays.

-Norman will be on Baldwin

And most importantly: I view this as a revenge game for US from last year in the playoffs.  We kept up with them until later in the game.  They may be heated from the regular season, we'll be heated for them knocking us out last season.

While I agree with all that, this game will come down to our defense limiting Wilson and the Seahawks offense. They must hold the Seahawks to around 13.

If we are going to focus on defense in the off-season, they have to step up in the post-season.

This game is going to be the most intense/physical game played all year by any team.

Shits going to be so real.  We hate them, they hate us.

Totally.  This is going to be one hell of a physical game.

Also: We CANNOT turn it over.  I don't want us to play safe-play football on offense---we have to be efficient, lethal, and smart.

That's how the Seahawks magically pop back into these games.

They also get flat out lucky......like bad snap Wilson ran back 15 yards for and fell on and then got up and lobbed it for a wide open 3rd down conversion.  Wilson always gets those BS plays to "spark" his team.

When they fug up we just got to make them pay.  Last game we Played they had that horrible flea flicker that was perfectly identified and covered.  A horrible throw by Wilsom to our defender resulted in a TD for them

Not just for last year, but for the lucky $hit in each and every one of the previous visits to BOA.

And an extra cherry on top for 2005.

    • frank, that ball was very catchable where it hit his hands. I don't even think he bent at waist until after he dropped it. He actually slows his pace to position himself to catch the ball. That will never be a pass I'd blame on the QB.   NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-54-54.mp4
    • https://overthecap.com/position/left-guard   Lewis is the 9th highest paid Left Guard in the league. I bet it was higher when the deal was done two years ago.    https://overthecap.com/position/right-guard Hunt #3 highest Right Guard   There is a tab in the upper left portion of the graphic that allows looking at the different positions.
    • It was a great play, but a better catch than throw. The TE boxes out Moehrig for position. Jumps to catch the ball. Catches it and turns 180 degrees while he's still in the air. Comes down and toe taps to stay in bounds and lunges for the goal post. That first part where he boxes out Moehrig for the ball is huge. If he doesn't do that and simply fades back to catch the ball (this is why Bryce doesn't trust XL), then Moehrig likely undercuts the pass for a break up or INT. Stafford trusts his receivers to make plays for him. Here I slowed it down so you can see it. Great play but amazing catch and score by the TE.  NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-45-32.mp4 NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-44-37.mp4
