Not one person in the stadium or anywhere else but the Huddle is complaining about this win

I'm not gonna lie. I'm disappointed by panthers fans today. I picked a blow out and it almost happened. There are issues to talk about but I look at the positives first. I got shot down last night for even considering a blow out. Why is everyone so negative?

the 2nd half was beyond bad, if we scored (even a FG) or kept them at 14-17 points, but we let back in the game with 24 UNANSWERED points in that half and praying we cover that on sides kick...it would be different. I would have rather seen a weak 1st and strong 2nd going into next week. So, people are rightly concerned going into a playoff game with the #2 seed. The 3 teams that concerned me the most Hawks, Cards, Pats.

nobody is begrudging the win...just the tendency of this team to get complacent with a lead and let teams make comeback efforts. If they were assholes like the pats they'd pour 60 on teams and be resting starters in the playoffs

I think the Seahawks might be the toughest team we face all season. Not sure who is going to be tougher, even the Pats.

If we play a half like that and you think Brady won't crush us you're crazy. He may be the best qb of all time. And easily the best SB qb ever.

Criticism is fine as long as you realize your criticising does absolutly nothing. You won and are just whining to hear yourselves whining. Y'all are embarrassing.

I have no problem with a fan voicing displeasure. But a complaint without a solution is just a bitch. And that is what most of these folks do. "If such and such happens again we will lose. If we do that again, I am done. This sucks, I can't handle this anymore" That, and the ones that feel the need to curse the coaches for every negative play.

Sucks all the joy out of a win. A win that puts us in the NFCC Game.

The complaints come from the fact that they've done this multiple times this season where they play well in the 1st half and then fall asleep in the 2nd half and losing leads at times. It's good that they won today but it's not gonna be every game they're up 30 at half time and just do absolutely nothing in the 2nd half because they scored enough in the 1st half. It could be like the Atlanta game where it was close throughout and Carolina ended up losing with conservative coaching.

OK, if you say so. See, this is what is wrong. Calling for future failure based on the past.

If we can pressure Palmer, then Brady like we can. We can make them uncomfortable. And every QB makes mistakes when they are uncomfortable.

But hey, keep with the negativity.

Or, it could be like every other of our 16 wins. Where we play well enough to win. The only stat that matters is Wins. Not how you look getting them.

You know plenty of fans have offered the solution...stop playing not to lose...but, they have no power for thier solution to be implemented, other than voicing their displeasure of what they are witnessing.

Complaints are totally valid in my opinion. No one's saying they aren't glad the panthers win.. just acknowledging the team has a serious problem that could kill them in the next game or two.

Like me I'm very glad they won. But does that mean we automaticallyd are banned from making complaints about anything because we won? The whole point of a fan forum is to be able to speak your mind, speculate, criticize, praise, whatever.

    • Personally I think he's a nightmare to cover I think linebackers generally aren't fast enough to keep up with him in coverage and cornerbacks don't have the strength to tackle him one-on-one in physically bring them down which would normally lead to a broken tackle or a nasty stiff arm or just bully ball play sure you could find a receiver with comparable speed like Cooper but he's faster than Cooper sure you can find a wide receiver that is the same size but he's probably More powerful than them and a better blocker.  The size speed athleticism package that he is in is completely unique it's easier to say I'd rather have just a big blocker because we've never seen this type of profile before I'm a risk taker I think you would be God blessed if this was there at 19 I think if you can get a guy that's a tight end who immediately becomes the fastest guy on your offense and at the same time that third wide receiver that can stretch and burn defenses over the top that's the perfect what the Panthers need type weapon.
    • I think you're under selling Sadiq. They are two different players in terms of how they win. Loveland is 2 inches taller maybe 5-6 pounds heavier. Comparing his speed to sadiq.. well your comparing a 4.7 guy to a 4.3 guy I'm seeing a guy that can take a bubble screen from the tight end position and turn it into a house call. I'm not saying the guy is a certified home run pick but I don't think there's really a president's for a comparison for this kind of athlete. It's easy to say this doesn't look like Warren or Loveland because we haven't seen guys that fit this profile The closest you might be able to get is Vernon Davis.  He's not as sure far as those guys were but at 19 I think almost everybody is going to have some warts and he's a lottery ticket of could be top 10 in the draft player or could fail I am more of a risk taker I think he fits the athletic profile that could be a homerun, like I said he's almost 40 lb bigger than Cooper and like 4-5 in taller than Cooper so and he's faster. So whatever you think Cooper gives you I think he does that and more. If you want to go with one of the office alignment I can understand that as well but for value as a receiving threat I don't think there's a bigger value at number 19.
