Rivera said if the Panthers make a roster move to replace Allen, logical choice would be bringing DE Wes Horton up from practice squad.

I agree. He'd be motivated after being deactivated for so long after the hot start. He's not great against the run but the Cards' run blcoking is not great anyways so I think that would be worth it to have him rushing Palmer. Need to get in Palmer's head early and often and throw his game off.

Could really be a blessing in disguise.  Against the Hawks you want contain and that actually fits CJ and Allen in retrospect.  We need pressure on Carson.  So we are forced to go back with youth that rushed well early.  I think it was Ealy that help cause the 2nd INT too

One thing we do know....AZ is going to air out deep on the first two plays.  Bruce basically called Palmer out on picking short passes last week bc he was scared.  Seems like AZ lets Palmer pick the scripted plays on the opening drive.  Going to need the rush on snap one

I heard ryan recently got in one little fight in west philadelphia, where he was born and raised, and his mom got scared at which point he had to live with his auntie and uncle in bel air.  He may or may not have been shooting some b-ball outside the school when the fight occurred.

I imagine the change of scenery could help him get off the snap and pressure the qb.

not only that. theres no game film on him really for Arz to study.

There's 4 or 5 games where he played a significant number of snaps and that's plenty for NFL coaches. His production dropped every game he played because as more tape was available so we're his tendencies and he didn't adjust. He needs the offseason and training camp. I expect a lot from him but I don't think he's ready right now.

I bet Allen still plays. This is his last year probably and wants to finish it. He's a tough crazy SOB.
