Well... at least he's an honest hater.

Dispatch from Charlotte: Panthers people too happy

Quote

From its overly-exuberant quarterback to its flamboyant defense, the Panthers are an irksome team. They are the football version of that screaming car salesman.

And all the joy around me this week – oh, look, here’s a local newspaper story reminding me that Carolina has a Superman (Newton), a Captain America (Luke Kuechly) and a Batman (the formerly bat-wielding cornerback Josh Norman) – only serves as a contrast to recent joyless Falcons seasons.

It is petty, but I begrudge this particular city its happiness.

Go, Cardinals.

We own the damn South and we are sooooooo into their Blank-dabbin' heads... lol.

I LOVE IT.

No pie for you.

I highly doubt it.  Cameron Jerrell Newton, Esq., Friend of Children, Lover of Puppies, and Beloved Father, has totally bought into the Carolina team and the Charlotte area.  He ain't going nowhere (mainly because the Panthers are not crazy enough to let him).

Well, damn. Expected better from the press for an article posted on Jan 20th.  OTOH, the article isn't exactly anti-Panthers, it's more a diatribe about what the Falcons fanbase doesn't have -- sheer joy.

That’s the 14-1 Carolina Panthers, whose only blemish was a mysterious loss to those Falcons
