Yesterday was the best overall game day experience I've ever had at BOA

I would however like to point out that blue neck gatrs (bandanas) need to be one  and done. Hardly nobody was waiving them at all. The white towels last week made the stadium seem more alive for sure.

im sure anybody that attended both games would agree

I would Agree.. They should have gave both a Towel and a Gator.. That Gator literally saved my life..that and the 2 extra pair of socks changing them during halftime.. the snow melted and soaked my shoes..

I agree with the idea that folks were simply stunned last night to be there and were just taking it all in initially.

The Seahawks game was four years of frustration and being tired of Seattle and Russell Wilson and wanting to make a statement. The crowd was a lot more intense because of the rivalry and understanding the significance of the opponent.

Between Stew gashing them up the middle followed by Star getting the TFL on Lynch and the Luke pick six off a near-sack by KK, that start was everything everyone in that crowd wanted to do to that team for so long, and when it finally culminated in that TD the place just lost it.

The Cardinals don't exactly bring out that same feeling.

I asked but never really got an answer on Twitter... the game last week seemed MUCH louder on TV than this week's game.

I'm assuming maybe Fox didn't have the same mic system setup or something?  I mean, I could hear the crowd, but it seemed very muted.  Everyone on twitter was saying how the stadium was literally rocking...  how loud was it? We literally couldn't tell on TV.

the seattle game was louder - i would say by about 30% louder.

I don't think anyone in section 133 ever sat down. Even the 80 yr old couple beside us never sat, they went as far as to lean against their seats a few times. On my other side was a father and teenage son, that kid had the time of his life. The row behind me consisted entirely of a Latin group of some sort that only spoke Spanish. Language barriers aside, we were all high fiving, hugging and dancing together.

The stadium was loud as poo, especially the second half.

We were in the same section! This is the first game I've been to where it seemed that everyone was standing the entire game. Only other game to rival it was the Dallas playoff game during our last Super Bowl run. After sitting through our playoff loss to the Cardinals years ago, this was cathartic, and the best game I've ever been to.

i didn't go to the game (stupid job) but a 6:40 start is a weird start time as far as energy goes. Like it's enough for where most people have lost energy drunk and got tired drunk.

But yeah once the game started i can't imagine it was a dull atmosphere.

It was a little dicey over toward South End after the game. A lot of the kids who hadn't paced themselves were stumbling around like Johnny Ringo after taking that bullet to the head. Saw more than one SUV with vomit flames painted down the side.

crowd noise was the loudest i'd ever heard it. sounds like the broadcast didn't mic it up very well. my abdomen is still sore from screaming my body hollow.

the entire second half was a dance party. it was a fuging rave. everyone danced. it was a reflection of the culture instilled on the field of ass kicking with a grin. no waving your harris teeter card either. no mickey mouse club bullshit. it was all business from the word go.

what a time to be alive.

Went to most games in 2010 and PSL owner since 2011 (Thank you Jimmy for bringing the price down where we could afford them!).  Last night was the most alive I have seen the stadium since I have been going.  In the 4th, the stadium (518 nosebleeds) was literally rocking so much it was unsettling to my wife.  Only second time we have felt it rock like that - the first being the Monday night win over the Pats a few years back.  No one sat for either of the last two games other than for halftime.

As for the giveaways... I disagree completely.  I love the bandannas given away last night.  Something different.  And even better - not "sponsored" so no annoying ads on them.  There is only so many towels that one can have although we do use our stack for napkins during various football themed parties at the house.  The bandanna is second only to the non-sponsored Keep Pounding flag they gave away earlier in the season.   Fortunately that game was a game where there were a lot of opposing fans which means we were able to grab more on the way down at the end of the game.    Now have one hanging in my home office, work office, and gave some away to friends.

    • Well there goes the bullied victim spiel.
    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs.
